The 81-year-old president hasn’t said much since announcing his intentions to drop out of the presidential race. But that’s now changed.

As Biden has finally broken his silence after bowing out of the 2024 election to make this alarming promise.

Besides an announcement on X (the social media site formerly known as Twitter) stating that he plans to drop out of the 2024 presidential election, Joe Biden has been publicly absent.

The president notably has been recovering from COVID, but it’s still odd that he didn’t release a video statement concerning his decision.

But that all changed when he made these recent remarks, which included a disturbing vow.

Biden All-In on Campaigning for Kamala Harris

President Joe Biden has spoken publicly for the first time since his unexpected withdrawal from the presidential race on Sunday.

Despite facing calls to step down, Biden promised to campaign for Vice President Kamala Harris while continuing his duties as president.

The dynamics between Biden and Harris remain uncertain, as both hold similar favorability and approval ratings in the mid-30s. Whether Harris desires Biden’s campaign support remains unclear.

“I’m not going anywhere,” Biden assured supporters during a Harris campaign call. “I’m going to be out there and campaign with her, with Kamala. I’m going to be working like hell, both as a sitting president, getting legislation passed, as well as in campaigning,” he added, his voice noticeably raspy.

Biden has canceled nine trips scheduled for the next two weeks, according to a New York Post report on Monday evening. Emphasizing the urgency of his mission, he stated, “We still need to save this democracy, and Trump is still a danger to the community, is a danger to the nation.”

Reflecting on his decision to exit the race, Biden said, “I know yesterday’s news was surprising. It’s hard for you to hear, but it was the right thing to do.” He expressed his gratitude towards his supporters, acknowledging their efforts and dedication.

“It’s — I know it’s hard because you poured your heart and soul into me to help us win this thing, help me get this nomination, help me win the nomination, and then go on to win the — win the presidency. But, you know, you’re an amazing team, but we’ve got a great, great — I think we made the right decision.”

Sources informed the New York Post that Biden’s step back on Sunday was influenced by top Democrats threatening to use the Twenty-Fifth Amendment to force his removal.

This strategy was part of an elaborate plan, highlighted by allowing Biden to debate Republican candidate Donald Trump live on TV in Atlanta last month.

A Democratic insider disclosed that party leaders have been aware of Biden’s decline for at least two years. “When I saw him a couple of years ago, it was frightening,” the source said. “He was just repeating slogans and had no idea who I was.”

Republican vice-presidential nominee Senator JD Vance (OH) described the situation as a coup against Biden. Speaking to Fox News, Vance argued, “There’s a constitutional process [to] the Twenty-Fifth Amendment. If Joe Biden can’t run for president, he can’t serve as president, and if they want to take him down because he’s mentally incapable of serving, invoke the Twenty-Fifth Amendment.”

“You don’t get to sort of do this in the most politically beneficial way for Democrats. If it’s an actual problem, they should take care of it the appropriate way.”

The White House schedule released Monday indicates that Biden will not hold any public events this week to explain his decision to step aside.

This absence is expected to heighten concerns about his health and fuel calls for his resignation, as many commentators fear his ability to run the executive branch is in question.
