Joe Biden knows a thing or two about government overreach. His administration has been guilty of it too many times.

And Biden issued a chilling order that has Republicans worried sick.

It’s no secret that President Biden is anti-gun.

In a recent post on social media, the President posted an image saying, “I am determined to ban assault weapons. I did it once before, and I’ll do it again.”

And with the help of his administration’s Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), Joe Biden is putting his money where his mouth is.

“The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has revoked the licenses of 122 gun dealers in the fiscal year that began in October, up from 90 for all last fiscal year and 27 in 2021” according to the Wall Street Journal.

To the anger of firearm owners and dealers across the country, the Biden administration is overachieving compared to its predecessors.

Since 2013, Donald Trump and Barack Obama’s administrations didn’t revoke any more than 81 licenses.

Anthony Navaro, who owns a gun shop that had its license confiscated, said, “We were making $1 million a year, now it’s less than $100,000. This policy is designed to be a backdoor violation of the Second Amendment.”

U.S. Representative, Matthew M. Rosendale Sr. (R-MT) also believes that Biden is “weaponizing federal agencies to target and harass hard-working Americans for exercising their constitutional rights.”

Rosendale even formed a letter to ATF Director Steve Dettelbach and the Internal Revenue Services (IRS) Commissioner Daniel Werfel, which in part stated, “A pattern of intimidation and harassment seems to be emerging under Director Dettelbach’s leadership of the ATF.”

“This pattern appears to be orchestrated directly from the White House as evident by the ‘fact sheet’ released by the Biden Administration, where they detail their plans to hassle mom-and-pop gun shops over minor record keeping and paperwork discrepancies.”

Gun dealers across the country are unsurprisingly outraged over the ATF’s attack on the Second Amendment.

According to the Post Millennial, “Firearms dealers are pushing back against the Biden administration, which has begun to revoke licenses at an unprecedented rate, causing dealers to file lawsuits and/or threaten to stop informing federal agencies of suspicious buyers in reaction to the perceived government overreach.”

The ATF’s latest actions even have former agents arguing if the Bureau has the right motives.

“The gun dealers were our first line of defense against gun trafficking. Why are we now beating an ally into submission?” said Peter Forcelli, a retired ATF deputy assistant director.

ATF Director Steve Dettelbach stands behind the agency’s actions 100%.

“We’ve taken steps to hold accountable those few dealers who are engaging in these willful violations. They’re not going to have the privilege of being a gun dealer anymore.”

Department heads like Dettelbach, prove that the Biden administration is having no issue in weaponizing it’s agencies to help enforce its anti-gun agenda.
