The mainstream media just can’t hide their desperation. On a recent episode of CBS’s “Face the Nation,” their own legal analyst, Jan Crawford, went all-in predicting doom and gloom for President Trump at the Supreme Court in 2026.
She admitted the administration has racked up huge victories so far, but insisted that streak is about to crash hard.
Crawford appeared on the Sunday broadcast, where host Margaret Brennan and the panel fawned over the usual anti-Trump narrative. Even though she acknowledged the “tremendous success” Trump has enjoyed with the high court, Crawford was dead set on claiming 2026 would flip the script entirely.
President Trump has been dominating with emergency rulings from the Supreme Court – those crucial stays that halt activist lower court judges from blocking his America First policies while cases drag on.
But Crawford dismissed all that momentum. “Those are temporary, interim orders,” she said regarding the emergency rulings.
“And the administration has been very strategic and only appealing adverse ruling from courts below that it thinks it can win.”
She doubled down, warning that real decisions on the merits would turn against Trump. “Again, these are just interim orders. Once we do get to the merits, I don’t think Trump’s going to win all of these cases,” Crawford said. “And I certainly don’t think he’s going to win the birthright citizenship case.”
When Brennan pushed back with a “You don’t?”, Crawford fired off: “No, absolutely not.” She even threw in doubts about the tariffs case, saying things look good now but could sour by summer.
This birthright citizenship fight is massive – Trump’s executive order aims to end the absurd practice of handing out automatic citizenship to babies born to illegal aliens or temporary visitors. It’s about stopping anchor babies and chain migration that flood the nation with people who have no loyalty to America.
Real Americans know the 14th Amendment was never meant to reward lawbreakers. It was for freed slaves, not to turn our country into a free-for-all welfare magnet for the world. Trump’s push here is pure common sense, putting citizens first.
Yet here’s a CBS expert rooting against it, claiming Trump has zero chance. “No, absolutely not,” she replied when asked if he’d win. And on tariffs – those tools to bring jobs back and punish countries ripping us off – she hinted the court might rule against Trump on that too.
Crawford wrapped up by noting the court’s packed docket with explosive issues: gun rights battles to protect the Second Amendment, and cases over biological men invading women’s sports. These are fights that hit home for every hardworking family tired of woke insanity.
The left is terrified because a strong Supreme Court majority has been delivering wins for common-sense conservatism. They’ve granted stays on key Trump policies, overriding rogue judges who think they run the country.
But media elites like Crawford are already spinning defeat, hoping to demoralize Trump supporters before the big rulings drop. It’s the same old playbook: predict failure to make any win seem like a fluke.
Don’t buy it. President Trump built this court with rock-solid appointments, and these justices know the Constitution isn’t a su*cide pact for open borders or economic surrender.
The establishment is panicking because Trump’s agenda is winning hearts and now winning in court.
Crawford’s gloom-and-doom prediction? Just another fake news hit job from a network that hates the Trump administration.
