Biden’s poll numbers are looking abysmal right now. He could very well be on his way to being just a one-term president.
And CNN issues a massive confession about Joe Biden’s reelection chances that has him scared straight.
On June 27, President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump will square off in the first of two scheduled debates.
The first debate will be hosted on CNN, while the second debate will be hosted by ABC News.
After much pleading, Trump finally got what he wanted and that’s a debate between himself and Biden.
The former president was eager to match up against Joe Biden and even declared that he would debate him at any place and anytime.
But Democrats are growing increasingly worried about this contest. They believe it could make or break Biden’s election chances.
During an episode of CNN’s “Newsroom,” CNN contributor Van Jones explained that the debate is “the entire election.”
“Biden’s got two things working against him. One is the momentum is not there with them, but also he’s got a full-time job. All Trump’s got to do is set up in court, not fall asleep, and then go out there and say mean stuff about about Biden. When you have a full-time job as demanding as a presidency,” Jones said.
“How big of a moment is this for the president? I talked to folks in the Biden world, the Democratic Party, and they say this is a hugely important moment for the president,” host Jim Acosta said in response.
That’s when Jones revealed that if the debate goes sideways for Joe Biden, it could very well be the end of his reelection chances.
“This is the entire election as far as I’m concerned. The entire world will be watching. If you are a carbon-based life form, you’re going to be watching. If you’ve got a functioning brain stem, you’re going to be watching,” Jones stated.
“Because if Biden goes out there and messes up, it’s game over. If he walks out there and a week later he’s lower in the polls, it’s panic in the party. But if he goes in there and he can handle himself against Donald Trump – a runaway train, a locomotive, a raging bull – then this guy deserves another shot to be president because that is tough.”
“This is the whole presidency in a bottle, in a week.”
Especially in recent months, President Biden has been notorious for fumbling his words during speeches in front of crowds and in front of a camera.
Many voters are worried about him suffering from cognitive decline and could see that affecting his debate performance.
Just the other day, during a press conference commemorating the anniversary of DACA, Biden spoke utter gibberish while trying to remember Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas’ name.

An incident like that is why the Left is so worried about Joe Biden stepping on the debate stage.
He could very well humiliate himself in front of hundreds of millions and prove to the nation that he is indeed not mentally and physically fit to serve another four years as commander-in-chief.
