The U.S. Senate is stuck in severe gridlock. And former President Trump is tired of it.
Because Trump just dropped the hammer on the U.S. Senate with this fiery message.
While the Democrats maintain a tiny majority in the U.S. Senate chamber, that majority may as well be non-existent.
A number of Democrats are regularly defying their own Party, like Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) and the newly independent Senator Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ).
This has led to any and all legislation being held up in the U.S. Senate, as the Upper Chamber of Congress simply weighs everything down with its Washington, D.C. Swamp nature.
Meanwhile, in the U.S. House of Representatives, conservative Republicans have been making serious advancements in their goal to hold the Biden administration accountable as they said they would before the 2022 midterms.
More and more witnesses and whistleblowers are coming forward ready to share the truth about the criminal schemes of President Biden, his son Hunter, and the family as a whole.
House Republicans believe they could get the votes to impeach President Joe Biden but have been hesitant to do so because they want to ensure their Senate counterpart is prepared to vote in agreement.
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy himself has said he doesn’t want to see Joe Biden get away with his crimes. If they are going to shoot their shot in the form of impeachment articles, they want it to stick.
Former President and Republican heavyweight in the 2024 Presidential election race Donald Trump has had enough of the U.S. Senate dragging their feet, however.
He took to his Truth Social account to put the U.S. Senate on blast and called on them to follow in the footsteps of the U.S. House to hold President Biden accountable for his alleged crimes.
“Joe Biden is the most corrupt President in the history of the United States, which is being undeniably proven in the House of Representatives every single day,” Trump wrote to his followers.
Trump then asked why the Republicans in Congress are dragging their feet and keeping quiet about the injustice that is being done, even against himself.
“But with all of these horrible revelations and facts, why hasn’t Republican ‘leadership’ in the Senate spoken up and rebuked Crooked Joe Biden and the Radical Left Democrats, Fascists, and Marxists for their criminal acts against our Country, some of them against me,” Trump added.
“How long does America have to wait for the Senate to ACT?” He asked.
The sad truth is that Republicans when they become U.S. Senators almost always lose some of the edge of their conservative beliefs. Not always, but it happens frequently.
Senators like Mitt Romney (R-UT) and even the Republican minority leader in the chamber, Mitch McConnell (R-KY), are the norm. They will sell out their conservative base to keep their political career alive in a heartbeat.
But Donald Trump is sick of it. As the de facto leader of the Republican Party even though he’s out of office, he’s putting the heat on the Senate Republicans to pull their heads out of their rears.
