Kamala Harris is in every way a radical Leftist. But she doesn’t even seem to care that her ideologies are extreme.
And Harris delivers a mind-numbing response after being caught in this White House scandal.
Vice President Kamala Harris recently opened up about a pivotal moment in her political journey — the day she received the call from President Joe Biden informing her of his decision to exit the 2024 presidential race.
At 59, Harris shared details about the call in her first in-depth interview since Biden’s withdrawal, while affirming that she has no second thoughts about standing by her 81-year-old colleague amidst public concern over his capacity to continue in office.
When asked by CNN if she had any reservations about defending Biden’s poor mental fitness, Harris shockingly responded: “No, not at all.”
But instead of continuing on about how Harris lied to the American people about the president’s cognitive decline, the interview moved on to how the vice president found out Joe Biden would be dropping out of the race.
“I’ll give you a little too much information,” Harris began. “My family was staying with us, including my baby nieces. And we had just had pancakes. We were sitting down to do a puzzle, and the phone rang — it was Joe Biden, and he told me what he had decided to do.”
In disbelief, Harris responded, “‘I asked him, ‘Are you sure?’ And he said, ‘Yes.’” The decision, monumental in both their careers, came with Biden’s assurance that he would back her as the Democratic nominee for the presidency.
During the interview, Harris reflected on Biden’s tenure in the White House and his legacy. “I think history is going to show that in so many ways [Biden’s presidency] was transformative,” she said. Harris alleged that the president accomplished investments in infrastructure, new industries, and success in restoring relationships with international allies. “He’s been quite selfless,” she added.
Despite the weight of Biden’s decision, Harris noted that her immediate thoughts weren’t about her own career. “My first thought was not about me, to be honest with you, my first thought was about him.”
Biden’s decision to exit the race on July 21 came after mounting pressure from Democrats following a stumble in a late June debate with former President Donald Trump, hosted by CNN. In a move that prevented a potentially chaotic Democratic convention, Biden threw his full support behind Harris, and she swiftly secured the party’s nomination. Harris spent the following days working the phones, locking down support for her candidacy.
Though Harris had been relatively quiet amid the growing Democratic dissent against Biden, she defended him publicly after the debate. The vice president had maintained a light public profile during the turmoil but made sure to go on record in defense of Biden.
Kamala Harris’s Lack of Shame in Misleading Americans
In her CNN interview, Harris didn’t shy away from comparing Biden’s leadership to Trump’s. “I have spent hours upon hours with him, be it in the Oval Office or the Situation Room. He has the intelligence, the commitment, and the judgment and disposition that I think the American people rightly deserve in their president,” she said, before pointedly adding, “By contrast, the former president has none of that.”
But if Biden’s leadership and intelligence is as stellar as Harris claims it is, then why isn’t he still running for president?
It’s past time for the Democrats and Kamala Harris to own up for the lies they’ve told the American people about Joe Biden’s mental fitness.
For anyone with even an ounce of common sense, it was clear that Biden was suffering from cognitive decline. In fact, that was evident even before the June debate with Donald Trump.
Yet the Left claimed that people were overreacting and that the president was fine. The fact that the country’s vice president has no regrets for defending Biden’s clear mental struggles is shameful, to say the least.
