The Leftist media outlet has become completely unhinged. They want to spew Democrat propaganda at every chance they get.
And MSNBC launched an all-out assault on Fox News during a heated broadcast.
During Wednesday’s episode of Morning Joe on MSNBC, David Frum, staff writer at The Atlantic, sparked controversy with remarks that even the show’s hosts found inappropriate.
Frum’s comments, which compared Fox News personality Pete Hegseth to a failed 1989 cabinet nominee, prompted immediate pushback from Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, who addressed the matter before heading to a commercial break.
Frum drew a parallel between Hegseth and John Tower, a former senator from Texas nominated by President George H.W. Bush to serve as Secretary of Defense.
“Well, just given what one sees on camera, if you’re too drunk for Fox News, you’re very, very drunk indeed. So, that’s alarming,” Frum said. He went on to elaborate:
“In 1989, President George H.W. Bush nominated John Tower, senator from Texas, for Secretary of Defense. And Tower was a very considerable person, a real defense intellectual, someone who deeply understood defense, unlike the current nominee. And it emerged that Tower had a drinking problem. And when he was drinking too much, he would make himself a nuisance or worse to women around him.”
Frum concluded with a sharp critique: “You don’t wanna think that our moral standards have declined so much that you can say, ‘Let’s take all the drinking, all the s*x-pesting, subtract any knowledge of defense, subtract any leadership. And there’s your next Secretary of Defense for the 21st century.’”

This prompted co-host Mika Brzezinski to give an apology to Fox News later in the show.

While Scarborough and Brzezinski allowed Frum to finish his remarks, they didn’t let them go unaddressed.
Brzezinski spoke directly to viewers before the commercial break, distancing the show from Frum’s comments and also offering a rare defense of Fox News which was also the subject of Frum’s attacks during his rant.
“Before we go to break, a little earlier in this block, there was a comment made about Fox News in our coverage about Pete Hegseth and the growing number of allegations about his behavior over the years and possible addiction to alcohol or issues with alcohol,” Brzezinski said.
“The comment was a little too flippant for this moment that we are in. We just wanna make that comment as well.”
She continued, acknowledging the ongoing debates between MSNBC and Fox News but drawing a line of respect: “We wanna make that clear. We have differences in coverage with Fox News, and that’s a good debate that we should have often. But right now, I just wanna say there are a lot of good people who work at Fox News who care about Pete Hegseth and we’ll wanna leave it at that.”

It was refreshing to see a host from MSNBC come to the defense of Fox News, a network that isn’t as quick to bend the knee to the Democrat Party.
If only other Leftist news hosts were willing to do that more often and be fair in their news coverage.
But instead Americans have to deal with them spewing every bit of propaganda that comes from the Democrat machine.
