And Rep. Ocasio-Cortez just did the unthinkable to these conservative Supreme Court Justices.
If the Democrats had their way, they would ultimately pack the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) with liberal justices so that they could further advance their radical agenda.
But when the SCOTUS makes a ruling that they don’t like, they immediately try to claim that the Court is illegitimate and demand that the justices should be forced to step down from the bench.
And that’s exactly what one radical Leftist lawmaker is currently doing.

In a significant political move, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has introduced articles of impeachment against Supreme Court Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito.
This action, taken on Wednesday, follows her earlier commitment to do so in response to the Supreme Court’s presidential immunity ruling.
Ocasio-Cortez described this step as necessary to address the “unchecked corruption crisis on the Supreme Court,” which she believes has escalated into a “Constitutional crisis.”
She emphasized the critical nature of the issue, stating, “Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito’s pattern of refusal to recuse from consequential matters before the court in which they hold widely documented financial and personal entanglements constitutes a grave threat to American rule of law, the integrity of our democracy, and one of the clearest cases for which the tool of impeachment was designed.”
The impeachment resolution against Thomas cites his failure to disclose gifts and income, his refusal to recuse himself from cases related to his spouse’s legal and financial interests, and other ethical concerns.
Alito faces similar accusations, including failing to recuse himself from cases where he had a personal bias or financial interest and not disclosing gifts and income.
Specifically, Alito did not recuse himself from cases involving former President Trump and the January 6 defendants, citing his wife’s legal rights to display certain flags at their New Jersey beach home.
Both justices have denied any wrongdoing, and Republican critics argue that these impeachment efforts are part of a Democratic strategy to undermine the court.
Ocasio-Cortez has been an outspoken critic of recent Supreme Court decisions and has called for greater scrutiny of ethical issues involving Alito and Thomas, particularly regarding undisclosed gifts and alleged political affiliations.
Following the Supreme Court’s ruling on July 1 that former President Trump might have some immunity from prosecution related to post-2020 election actions, Ocasio-Cortez announced her intention to file impeachment articles once Congress reconvened.
However, she did not specify which justices would be targeted until now.
The impeachment articles are co-sponsored by Reps. Barbara Lee (D-CA), Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-NJ), Delia Ramirez (D-IL), Maxwell Frost (D-FL), Ilhan Omar (D-MN), and Jamaal Bowman (D-NY).
These resolutions are expected to be reviewed by the GOP-led Judiciary Committee.
