The Democrat Party doesn’t care about law and order. It’s the furthest thing from their minds.
And now Republicans are furious after the White House cut this deal with criminals.
More than 100 migrants who rioted at the southern border in March—injuring guards in the process—have been released into the United States, thanks to the Biden administration’s lenient policies that prioritize political optics over public safety, The Post has learned.
Of the 211 migrants who stormed through razor wire and charged the border wall in El Paso, Texas, 124 were set free by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
This move follows a Biden-era directive to reserve detention space only for those deemed the most serious public safety, national security, or border security risks.
For the soldiers injured during the chaos, the decision feels like a betrayal. A Texas National Guard source told The Post, “It goes a long way to show where our officials’ loyalties lie. We have soldiers who are still recovering from injuries to this day, and our officials have shielded their attackers from any consequence.”
The source warned of dangerous consequences.
“This type of precedent-setting will only serve to encourage more aggression and violence from the migrants because they have been shown that they can absolutely get away with it.”
The riot on March 21, captured in shocking viral video, showed 211 migrants overwhelming the border defenses, tearing through razor wire, and overpowering guards trying to push them back into Mexico.
One rioter was seen stomping on a soldier’s knee, leaving the soldier with serious injuries.
While every rioter faced initial criminal charges, those charges were dropped in May due to a “technicality,” underscoring the weakness in the current administration’s handling of border security.
Since then, ICE has released the majority of the rioters, keeping only five in custody while deporting dozens of others.
An ICE insider revealed the arbitrary nature of detention decisions, describing it as a numbers game driven by insufficient resources and political priorities.
“Sometimes we arrest a child molester and he gets released because of housing space or the charge is not egregious enough to keep him or her in custody,” the source lamented.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott, who has long criticized the Biden administration’s lax immigration policies, disclosed in September that over 100 of the rioting migrants were suspected members of Tren de Aragua, a notorious Venezuelan prison gang.
The revelation further highlights the potential risks posed by this wave of unchecked migration.
In response to the violence, Texas has ramped up its border defense, deploying additional soldiers and state troopers armed with non-lethal pepper ball guns.
While the state government is taking steps to prevent further incidents, it’s clear that federal policy continues to undermine these efforts by sending the message that lawlessness at the border comes without consequences.
The release of these rioters is more than a policy misstep—it’s a signal to would-be border aggressors that America’s laws are optional.
For those on the front lines, it’s a reminder of the dangerous reality of a border in chaos, fueled by an administration unwilling to put the safety of its citizens and defenders first.
