The Left’s allies in the media have run cover for them for years. Now everything has been turned on its head.
And this MSNBC anchor had a total meltdown on camera that you won’t believe.
When new charges surfaced against embattled Senator Robert Menendez (D-NJ), a piece on MSNBC’s “Deadline White House” on Tuesday became awkward — and his daughter was guest-hosting the show.
Alicia Menendez was filling in for usual anchor Nicolle Wallace, and just before the show went to commercial, she indicated that there would be a breaking news update soon.
“We have to take a quick break. And we’ll be back with some breaking news right after this,” she said.
However, when they returned, MSNBC host Ari Melber was in the anchor chair, delivering the news.

“Hello, I’m Ari Melber with some breaking legal news,” Melber said.
“New Jersey United States Sen. Robert Menendez now facing new allegations in a second superseding indictment which was filed by a federal grand jury from his DOJ prosecution.”
According to ABC News station WABC in New York, a second superseding indictment against the New Jersey senator alleges that he accepted “luxury watches” and other “things of value” in exchange for speaking positively about Qatar.
According to the indictment, co-defendant Fred Daibes asked Menendez, “How about one of these?” before sending the senator a photo of the watches in question, which varied in worth from $10,000 to $24,000.
Daibes sent Menendez another message two days later, on September 29, 2021.
This one was about a Senate resolution showing support for Qatar, and Daibes was also working on a real estate deal with the Qatari Investment Company at the time.
Menendez has already been charged with bribery and “acting as a foreign agent” in connection with his business connections with Egypt.
Alicia Menendez already addressed her father’s ongoing crisis, stating that while her network would continue to cover the news as it happened, she would not be the one to deliver it.
“I will not be reporting on the legal case. That said, my colleagues across MSNBC and NBC News, they have aggressively covered this story, and they’ll continue to do so, as they should,” she said at the time.
I guess Alicia doesn’t want to snitch on her dad for his obvious crimes.
