US Senator demolishes The View with one single sentence

The ladies of The View aren’t the most likable. And they sure weren’t ready for this.

Because this US Senator demolished The View with one single sentence.

Kennedy’s Blunt Rejection of “The View”

Louisiana Republican Senator John Kennedy left no room for doubt during his Monday appearance on “The Benny Show,” firmly ruling out any chance of guesting on ABC’s “The View.”

While promoting his freshly released book, “How to Test Negative for Stupid: And Why Washington Never Will,” host Benny Johnson put the question directly to him—and Kennedy wasted no time shutting it down.

“I will not be going on ‘The View.’ In fact, my version of hell is being required to watch reruns of ‘The View’ for the rest of eternity,” Kennedy declared.

Johnson playfully floated the idea of launching a petition, insisting a Kennedy episode would shatter ratings records. The senator wasn’t swayed. “Well, I don’t know, but I have no interest in going on,” he replied. “I’d rather be poked in the eye with a sharp stick.”

Fallout from MTG’s Appearance and Trump’s Reaction

The exchange came against the backdrop of Republican Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s controversial Nov. 4 spot on “The View,” which Johnson described as “the breaking point” in her relationship with President Donald Trump.

Days later, Trump pulled his endorsement in a scathing Truth Social post, citing the appearance as evidence she had veered “Far Left.”

“I understand that wonderful, Conservative people are thinking about primarying Marjorie in her District of Georgia, that they too are fed up with her and her antics and, if the right person runs, they will have my Complete and Unyielding Support,” Trump wrote.

“She has gone Far Left, even doing ‘The View,’ with their Low IQ Republican hating Anchors.”

Growing Calls for FCC Scrutiny of the Show

Criticism of “The View” has intensified, with new data showing the program hosted zero conservative or pro-Trump guests throughout the first seven months of 2025, according to a Media Research Center analysis through July 30.

Federal Communications Commissioner Brendan Carr raised the possibility of regulatory action during an interview on “The Scott Jennings Radio Show,” questioning whether the program still qualifies for an exemption from the FCC’s equal opportunity rule.

“[T]he FCC does have a rule called the equal opportunity rule … But there’s an exception to that rule called the bona fide news exception, which means if you are a bona fide news program, you don’t have to abide by the equal opportunity rule … And, potentially, I would assume you can make the argument that ‘The View’ is a bona fide news show, but I’m not so sure about that,” Carr explained.

“And I think it’s worthwhile to have the FCC look into whether ‘The View’ and some of these other programs that you have still qualify as bona fide news programs and therefore exempt from the equal opportunity regime that Congress has put in place,” he concluded.
