Biden’s 2024 election chances are dwindling. He can’t afford any more setbacks.

And Ron DeSantis just smacked Joe Biden with the worst news imaginable ahead of the election.

The 2024 presidential election will be here in no time at all.

That might be bad news for President Joe Biden who isn’t doing so well in multiple national and state polls at the moment.

And now Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) has made an announcement that could sink Biden’s campaign even further.

According to the governor, Florida now has almost 800,000 more registered Republican voters than Democrats.

“When I got elected governor in Nov 2018, FL had close to 300k more registered Democrats than Republicans,” DeSantis said in a post on X.

“Today, we have close to 800k more registered Republicans than Democrats – a net gain of more than 1 million in a little more than 5 years.”

“Produce results and people will respond!”

Data – which was updated on December 31, 2023 – from the Florida Division of Elections proves this statistic.

5,141,848 registered Republicans, outnumber 4,362,147 registered Democrats. That’s a 779,701 difference between the two parties.

But the crucial Sunshine State isn’t the only swing state in which Republicans are adding to their registration totals.

According to the Republican National Committee (RNC), the GOP is making “historic voter registration gains,” in swing states such as, Arizona, Nevada, Georgia, North Carolina, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania.

Polls already show Biden trailing likely Republican nominee Donald Trump in several swing states.

So if these statistics shared by DeSantis and the RNC hold true, then the current president could be in some real trouble.

Florida has quickly turned into a solid red state for Republicans under DeSantis’ leadership.

If other states like North Carolina and Georgia can do the same, then Republicans will be sitting pretty this November.

Of course, there’s still plenty of time for things to change, but for now, Democrats are probably starting to panic.
