The administration of Joe Biden is committed to bringing the US to its knees. They won’t be content until every American is pleading for help from the government.
Joe Biden has made it abundantly plain that he doesn’t care about the average American, whether it’s through record-high inflation or the IRS expanding by double to milk the taxpayer for every penny they have.
But his actions at the southern border were the only thing that made this obvious.
Millions of illegal immigrants cross the border every day without even coming into contact with border patrol.
In fact, almost 2.2 million people have been turned loose in America over the previous 1.5 years when you take into account those who have been released in the country by immigration authorities and the “gotaways” who slipped by.
And the taxpayers are paying a hefty price for this. The cost of the fresh influx of illegal immigrants has been estimated at $20.4 billion, according to a recent research by the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR).
That doesn’t include the $140 billion taxpayers already spend in benefits to already-residing illegal immigrants.
The paper outlines many alternatives to aiding lawbreakers that we could pay for. Listed here are some of our favorites:
- $50k/year to every homeless veteran for 10 years.
- A $410 grocery voucher to every family earning less than $50k per year.
- Construction of the entire wall at the southern border.
The additional $20.4 billion that the Biden Border Crisis has burdened American taxpayers with is still staggering, according to Dan Stein, president of FAIR. “Even in an age in which trillion dollar spending packages are considered modest, the additional $20.4 billion the Biden Border Crisis has heaped onto the backs of American taxpayers is still staggering,” Stein said in a statement. “$20.4 billion could address some very important needs of the American public, instead of covering the costs of the surge of illegal migration triggered by this administration’s policies.”
Following Kamala Harris’ assertion that the southern border is secure, this damaging study was released.
“I think that there is no question that we have to do what the president and I asked Congress to do, the first request we made: pass a bill to create a pathway to citizenship,” Harris declared on “Meet the Press.”
“The border is secure, but we also have a broken immigration system, in particular, over the last four years before we came in, and it needs to be fixed,” she continued.
So, in addition to arguing that we should offer citizenship to millions of illegal immigrants for breaking the law, she also attributes the border situation to Donald Trump.
