This country is growing more and more unsafe. The vast majority of the blame for that can be placed on President Biden’s poor leadership.
And an invasion at this United States Air Force base has Washington, D.C. on red alert.
Laughlin Air Force Base in Texas was the scene of a scary incident after an illegal migrant was caught trespassing onto the base while fleeing from authorities.
The migrant, a Mexican male who’s 17-years-old, was in a vehicle that was stopped by Border Patrol near the Air Force base.
Once the vehicle was stopped, the 17-year-old migrant fled the scene.
According to what a spokesperson for Customs and Border Protection (CBP) explained to the New York Post, the migrant jumped over a fence and went onto the base.
It took an hour for him to be apprehended once he entered the Laughlin base. He was placed into custody as well as four men who were in the vehicle that was stopped by Border Patrol.
“At approximately 3:48 a.m. CST on May 23, 2024, Laughlin AFB was notified of the pursuit of a person by the U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) adjacent to the installation North gate who jumped the installation perimeter fence, entering Laughlin AFB,” the base said in a statement.
“The person was tracked by USBP canine teams on base and was successfully apprehended by USBP at 4:57 a.m. CST. A cordon was established adjacent to base housing to ensure the safety of base residents during the incident.”
On May 3, a similar incident occurred when several migrants from Jordan tried to trespass into Marine Corps Base Quantico using a box truck.
Back in March, an illegal immigrant from China tried to drive into Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center at Twentynine Palms, according to what officials from the Marine Corps said to Military.com.
The individual was told by guards that he could not enter, but tried to drive onto the California base anyway.
So far during Joe Biden’s presidency, 7.6 million illegal aliens have been caught at the southern border.
1.7 million illegals have snuck in without being caught during Biden’s tenure thus far. These migrants are specifically known as “gotaways.”
With more and more migrants flooding into this country illegally, it’s only a matter of time until another incident like the one at Laughlin Air Force Base occurs.
The Biden administration seems dead set on not doing anything about the major border crisis.
Instead, they’d rather sit on their hands and watch the country be torn apart.
But this election day, voters are going to remember Joe Biden’s lack of accountability and action at the border.
The issue of illegal immigration could very well sink the president’s chances at being reelected.
