Donald Trump crushed after Democrats handed down a 2024 election surprise

Trump needs to gather up as much momentum as he can heading into the general election. But that’s easier said than done after what the Left just did.

And Donald Trump was crushed after the Democrats delivered a 2024 election surprise.

In a stunning display of fundraising prowess, Vice President Kamala Harris was able to bring in $310 million in July, adding to a total campaign war chest of $377 million as the fall election season approaches.

Riding a wave of enthusiasm following President Joe Biden’s endorsement of her as the 2024 Democratic nominee, Harris’s haul surpasses not only Biden’s efforts from April through June but also outpaces former President Donald Trump’s July total.

Trump, Harris’s Republican rival, raised $139 million, bringing his cash on hand to $327 million.

Harris’s impressive July figures include contributions from her campaign, the Democratic National Committee, and their joint fundraising committees.

This milestone brings the total raised by Democrats this election cycle to $1 billion, marking the fastest achievement of this sum in presidential history. Notably, the campaign highlighted that two-thirds of July’s donors were new contributors, with the “vast majority” giving less than $200, indicating significant grassroots support with the potential for further donations.

“Compared to June, we saw more than 10 times the number of Gen Z donors, and more than 8 times the number of millennial donors,” the campaign reported on Thursday. “60% of all donors in July were women.”

The campaign also noted the success of various coalition groups, such as Black Women for Harris, Latinas for Harris, and White Dudes for Harris, which collectively raised over $20 million for the campaign.

Campaign manager Julie Chavez Rodriguez emphasized the significance of these numbers, describing them as a sign that Harris’s coalition is “mobilized, growing, and ready to put in the work.” The campaign has welcomed over 170,000 new volunteers and organized 2,300 events in key battleground states, supported by more than 260 coordinated campaign offices and 1,400 staff members.

“This is a history-making haul for a candidate who will make history this November,” Rodriguez stated. “Our money is going to the work that wins close elections — whether it be the organizer knocking doors in DeKalb County, a rural office opening in Pennsylvania, or a college student tabling at a club fair.”

Just hours before the Harris campaign released these numbers, the Trump campaign shared their own fundraising data.

“President Donald J. Trump and authorized committees raised $138.7 Million in the month of July, providing a cash on hand total of $327 million,” the Trump team said. “These numbers reflect continued momentum with donors at every level and provide the resources for the final 96 days until victory Nov. 5.”

President Biden had consistently outraised Trump until Super Tuesday, when the Republican primary concluded, and his campaign merged efforts with the Republican National Committee. Even significant fundraising events for Biden, such as the $26 million event in March featuring former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, were eclipsed by Trump’s own fundraising successes.

Notably, Trump raised $53 million in the first 24 hours following his guilty verdict on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in the hush money trial.

Harris’s appeal has also been evident in her campaign events, drawing an impressive crowd of 10,000 people to Georgia State University’s Convocation Center last Tuesday, marking the largest turnout for a Democratic event this election cycle.

But how much of this enthusiasm is just the honeymoon stage for the Democrats?

Kamala Harris’ record as Vice President proves that she’s accomplished little to nothing.

Only time will tell if her poll numbers and fundraising numbers take a major hit once Americans see her try to defend her poor record.
