Adam Schiff just blindsided Biden with this devastating betrayal

Rep. Adam Schiff has worked in lockstep with the Biden administration since day one. Joe Biden never thought he’d backstab him.

But Adam Schiff just blindsided Biden with this devastating betrayal.

Adam Schiff has made a name for himself in Congress after claiming for the entirety of Trump’s presidency that he had evidence Trump colluded with Russia.

Of course, he never released anything of the sort and Donald Trump was exonerated.

But it propelled Schiff into the national spotlight, something he’ll do anything to stay in – even turn on his own.

After it came to light that President Biden had taken classified documents with him after his tenure as Vice President, Schiff jumped on the opportunity.

President Joe Biden’s alleged mishandling of confidential papers, according to California Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff, may have risked national security.

Schiff hailed the hiring of a special counsel to investigate whether Biden unlawfully handled some secret materials on ABC’s “This Week” Sunday.

He also demanded an intelligence assessment to see whether national security had been jeopardized.

Schiff has claimed that former President Donald Trump “knowingly put our national security at risk” by having classified documents at Mar-a-Lago, his Florida home.

“I do think it’s the right move,” Schiff said of the special counsel probe. “The attorney general has to make sure that not only is justice evenly applied, but the appearances of justice are also satisfactory to the public. And here, I don’t think he had any choice but to appoint a special counsel. And I think that special counsel will do the proper assessment.”

“I still would like to see Congress do its own assessment of — and receive an assessment from the intelligence community of whether there was an exposure to others of these documents, whether there was harm to national security, on the case of either set of documents with either president,” he added, taking a swipe at Trump.

Schiff said he couldn’t say whether Biden jeopardized national security by keeping confidential information at his Delaware home.

“I don’t think we can exclude the possibility without knowing more of the facts,” he said.

“We have asked for an assessment in the intelligence community of the Mar-a-Lago documents. I think we ought to get that same assessment of the documents found in the – in the think tank, as well as the home of President Biden. I’d like to know what these documents were. I’d like to know what the IC’s assessment is, whether there was any risk of exposure and what the harm would be and whether any mitigation needs to be done. I think that would be appropriate and consistent with what we requested in the case of Mar-a-Lago.”

US Attorney General Merrick Garland stated Thursday that he had hired a special counsel to investigate President Biden about the discovery of sensitive documents.

After U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois John Lausch, who was assigned to conduct an initial review of the case, recommended to Garland that a special counsel be appointed, Garland appointed former U.S. Attorney Robert Hur, who served during the Trump administration, to serve as special counsel in the investigation.
