Joe Biden’s list of allies are getting smaller by the day. Before he knows it, he may have no friends by the time the general election is here.
And President Biden was blindsided after a strong ally made this insane proclamation about him.
Joe Biden’s approval rating is sinking fast.
Even members of his own party aren’t sure if he’s fit to continue serving as president.
But one Democrat is singing a different tune.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) told CNN on Tuesday that Biden is “one of the most successful presidents in modern American history.”
“I know who I’m going to choose [for president]: It’s going to be one of the most successful presidents in modern American history,” AOC said.
“[He] passed the inflation reduction that got us the American Rescue Plan that ensured that we could pass one of the largest federal investments in climate change in U.S. history.”
The Inflation Reduction Act that Ocasio-Cortez mentions, does nothing to actually reduce inflation. Instead it gives a large amount of funds to government agencies that deal with climate change.
The Democrat congresswoman’s comments also come at a time when Biden’s cognitive ability has been severely questioned after special counsel Robert Hur’s report detailed how the president’s memory was “significantly limited.”
Hur’s report deals with Biden’s mishandling of classified documents after he left his role as vice president under Barack Obama.
The report also adds that prosecutors will find it challenging to get a jury to convict the president because he can make himself seen “as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”
But despite that report that’s brought about concerns of Biden’s age, AOC is not buying any of the criticisms.
“I think right now, when it comes to the president’s age, folks are talking about how he’s 81,” she said.
“But we have to look at, first of all, Donald Trump is around the same age. They could have gone to high school together. And beyond that, Donald Trump has 91 indictments.”
Ocasio-Cortez then predicted a win for Joe Biden in the presidential election this fall.
“There’s already been a primary [where] voters have outright rejected Dean Phillips.”
“President Biden is going to be the Democratic nominee, and hopefully, he’ll be reelected as president of the United States.”
When more Leftists have decided to possibly abandon support of Biden, Rep. Ocasio-Cortez has firmly insisted that to stay with the president.
But that very well might come back to haunt her in November, as Donald Trump is leading Joe Biden in many national polls.
