Democrats are fuming after John Fetterman betrayed them in one surprising act

Fetterman

Fetterman has been making headlines for breaking with his party on plenty of issues. But this split may never be mended.

Because Democrats are fuming after John Fetterman betrayed them in one surprising act.

Anti-Israel demonstrators flying Palestinian flags turned up outside Senator John Fetterman’s (D-PA) home in Braddock, Pennsylvania, and he responded by going up to the roof and waving his own flag.

A video shared by X shows the junior Pennsylvania Senator standing on his roof and waving an Israeli flag.

The flag flapped in the breeze, but Fetterman remained motionless while protesters on the ground chanted, “Fetterman, Fetterman, you can’t hide. You’re supporting genocide.”

“I’m not too proud to admit that I misjudged @SenFettermanPA,” Jen Wright posted via X.

“And I will also note, IMHO, it is never ok to protest at someone’s home. It is an intimidation tactic and is abhorrent. Protest in the public square. Leave families out of it!!”

“The recent actions of Fetterman going against the Dems has been awesome! I bet super progressive Dems feel like wrestling fans did when Hogan flipped and joined the NWO,” another posted.

Former CIA agent Bryan Dean Wright said, “This guy is turning into the Honey Badger of politics.”

Fetterman has regularly outraged the Democratic Party’s extreme left, progressive wing, particularly in recent weeks, over his support for Israel and his appraisal of the mayhem at the US-Mexico border.

Shortly after Hamas terrorists attacked Israeli civilians on October 7th, Fetterman papered his entire Senate office with missing posters of Israelis kidnapped and carried into Gaza during the initial attack. He stated at the time that he would keep those posters on his wall until the hostages were released.

Fetterman also reacted harshly when South Africa accused Israel of “committing genocide” at The Hague.

“Who are … they really fighting?” Fetterman inquired of Hamas.

“It’s a group of cowards. They hide in tunnels; they hide behind civilians. They attack, kill, mutilate children, women; and they do that. Stop talking about proportion on that. They shot their best shot on October 7, and they would have taken more lives if they could have … but they couldn’t do it.”

“And now let’s also talk about that: Now we’re talking about genocide,” he continued, turning to the topic of South Africa.

“And now, South Africa now, is bringing that kind of a trial. Maybe South Africa … ought to sit this one out when they’re talking about criticizing Israel. Sit it out!”
