Former Obama adviser explodes in a fit of rage after Trump scores this massive election victory

Donald Trump just scored a major momentum boost. He’s on the right track to winning the White House again.

And a former Obama adviser explodes in a fit of rage after Trump scores this massive election victory.

David Axelrod, a well-known Democrat operative and former adviser to President Barack Obama, expressed his deep disappointment following Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s decision to endorse Donald Trump.

Kennedy, a member of one of the most iconic families in Democratic politics, surprised many with his exit from the presidential race and subsequent backing of the Republican nominee.

Axelrod took to social media to voice his dismay, particularly given his long-standing admiration for the Kennedy family. “Robert F. Kennedy was my political hero,” Axelrod shared.

“He battled fiercely & eloquently against poverty, injustice, and for economic fairness. Sadly RFK Jr, who made a rambling exit from the race today, proves that sometimes an apple DOES fall far from the tree…in this case, down a hill and over a cliff.”

The former candidate’s concession speech resonated with a sense of urgency for the future, particularly focusing on issues that Kennedy felt Vice President Kamala Harris had neglected.

He critiqued Harris for showing “no interest” in addressing concerns such as eliminating toxic chemicals from the nation’s food supply or reforming agencies like the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Department of Agriculture (USDA).

Kennedy’s commitment to addressing the health of American children and tackling corporate influence echoed elements of Trump’s “America First” rhetoric. There has even been speculation that Kennedy could land a position in a future Trump administration, potentially within one of the regulatory agencies he has targeted for reform.

However, Axelrod remained unconvinced by Kennedy’s reasoning and motives. “Robert F. Kennedy Sr. would have been appalled to see his son cut a deal to drop out for the race and endorse Trump,” he wrote.

During his speech, Kennedy revealed that he had attempted to reach out to Harris, but she declined to engage, refusing even a phone call. According to Kennedy, this further solidified his decision to endorse Trump, citing her lack of interest in the issues he deemed critical for the country.

As a Senior Political Commentator for CNN, Axelrod’s condemnation of RFK Jr.’s endorsement reflects the broader shock and criticism from Democrats, who view this move as a significant departure from the Kennedy legacy.

But as Kennedy pointed out in his announcement to drop out of the 2024 race, his father and his uncle would not recognize the Democrat Party of today.

David Axelrod clearly misses that point in his critique of RFK Jr.’s decision to support Trump.
