Host of The View has an utter meltdown after Trump assassination attempt goes wrong

The ladies of The View aren’t shy in their hatred of Donald Trump. They’ve been at odds with him for years now.

And this host of The View has an utter meltdown after the Trump assassination attempt went wrong.

On Tuesday, Whoopi Goldberg took aim at former President Donald Trump and his running mate, Senator JD Vance (R-OH), during an episode of “The View,” accusing both of them of contributing to the rise of violent political rhetoric in the U.S. This came after Vance suggested that Left-wing rhetoric could have played a role in a recent assassination attempt on Trump.

Goldberg, clearly angered by the remarks, said that Vance — and especially Trump, who she accused of having “incited violence since 2016” — were responsible for the toxic political atmosphere in America. She pointed to their rhetoric as a primary cause, rejecting any notion that the Left might be responsible for inflaming political tensions.

The segment began with a clip of Vance discussing a man who had been arrested after allegedly planning an assassination attempt on Trump. The suspect had been found between 300 and 500 yards from where Trump was playing golf, and Vance used the incident to call for a change in the tone of political discourse.

“The Left needs to tone down the rhetoric and needs to cut this crap out,” Vance said in the clip. The studio audience reacted audibly, gasping at his statement.

Goldberg acknowledged the audience’s response and then challenged Vance’s narrative. “If you want to hear violent rhetoric, go to a Trump rally,” she said, doubling down on her accusation.

“He has been inciting violence since 2016! You have to really take a look in a mirror,” Goldberg added, directing her criticism squarely at Vance and Trump.

She didn’t stop there. Goldberg went on to accuse Vance of stoking fears and stirring up tensions against Haitian immigrant communities in Ohio after he echoed concerns raised by constituents regarding the impact of immigrant populations in the area.

As the conversation continued, Goldberg’s co-hosts also weighed in, backing her stance. They collectively argued that Trump had been a catalyst for real violence in the political arena, despite the fact that much of the violence has actually targeted Trump and other Republicans.

Goldberg emphatically called for an end to the debate about whether both sides were equally to blame for the rise in violent rhetoric.

“Stop this thing,” she urged. “Let’s stop this both sides stuff because it’s not correct! It is not both sides! It is one clear side. And you can point to many, many reports. You guys have to pull it back. This is not us or them. This is you got to stop doing what you’re doing, J.D.! And what you’re doing, Mr. T! Because you are – you are not helping the situation.”

Trump Campaign Brings the Receipts

Trump’s campaign, in response to the second assassination attempt, released a list of more than 50 instances where Democrats and media figures had used violent rhetoric against him, even going so far as to call for his “elimination.”

This completely disproves Whoopi Goldberg’s claim that it’s just Republicans who are stoking the flames of violence in the United States.

By delivering evidence, the Trump campaign is showing Americans that the Left are actually the ones who are involved in inciting aggressive and dangerous behavior through their rhetoric.
