The 2024 Presidential election is well underway. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is the latest candidate to join in.
But Ron DeSantis just got blindsided by this crazy foreign attack that changes everything.
Governor Ron DeSantis has decided to compete for reelection in 2024, and Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador has commented on the matter, urging immigrants to vote against the Republican.
After President Joe Biden’s open border policies wreaked havoc on the United States, Lopez Obrador urged Hispanics to vote against DeSantis, who has been vocal about the need for tighter security at the border.
Hopefully, Hispanics in Florida would “wake up” and “not give him one single vote,” López Obrador added, referring to Trump’s possible electoral success among Florida’s Hispanic population.
The president of Mexico said that Governor DeSantis had “uncovered himself” by campaigning for “anti-immigrant” measures.
López Obrador went on to say, “As you can see, I wasn’t wrong that all his politicking over migrants was because he wanted to be the Republican Party’s candidate.”
With an impassioned call for Hispanics to “wake up,” Lopez Obrador accused the governor of unfairly targeting undocumented workers. He also attacked Governor Greg Abbott for his outspoken criticism of the Biden Administration’s “shipping” of illegal aliens to communities ruled by Democrats.
“The governor of Texas, campaigning, saying he will militarize the border and that he will continue building the wall; and the governor of Florida, same, because he wants to be the Republican Party candidate and he’s politicking,” he stated.
To counteract Biden’s disastrous border crisis, which has seen over 6.3 million illegal migrants flood the border, DeSantis enacted the strictest anti-illegal immigration legislation in the country earlier last month.
DeSantis claimed in a statement that the “Biden Border Crisis” was responsible for widespread destruction and threatened the safety of citizens.
“In Florida, we will not stand idly by while the federal government abandons its lawful duties to protect our country.”
It’s very telling that the Mexican President does not want Ron DeSantis anywhere near the White House in 2024.
Ron DeSantis likely wouldn’t put up with the nonsense that’s going on at the border and deny millions of illegal immigrants entry into the United States.
Those entries that are happening right now on Joe Biden’s watch, serve to help the Mexican President and Southern American countries because it’s literally an issue they no longer have to deal with.
But the American dream is not a charity.
If migrants want to come to the United States, they have to do so legally or face the consequences for failing to do so.
That’s what the two major Republican candidates for President in Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis believe and that’s what the majority of Americans believe as well.
