The discovery of this Democrat’s secret past has Congress in mayhem

It’s common for politicians to have skeletons in their closet. But no one was expecting this.

And the discovery of this Democrat’s secret past has Congress in mayhem.

According to reports from the Daily Beast, “Squad” member and U.S. Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) allegedly had a YouTube account that was subscribed to numerous channels that spouted off conspiracy theories.

Many of these theories involved antisemitism.

The Daily Beast reports that as recent as last month, Bowman was making playlists through the personal YouTube account. The username of the account is “Inner Peace.”

Aliens, theories that the earth is flat, and the Illuminati, were some of the conspiracy theories that were being shared on the channels that Bowman followed.

The “Inner Peace” YouTube account was not found when the New York Post tried to locate it last week. It’s not entirely clear if it was taken off the internet or not.

BreakThrough News, a channel that Bowman follows, is notorious for spreading Chinese and Russian propaganda.

“The American Takeover: How 2 Years of War Made Ukraine a US Colony,” is a video that channel has created.

BreakThrough News has also spewed anti-Israel content on it’s channel.

So has Afripost, another channel that Bowman subscribes to. Afripost has shared speeches by Louis Farrakhan, the Nation of Islam leader, who has called Jewish people “termites” and “the synagogue of Satan.”

Bowman refuted following these accounts in a statement made to the Daily Beast.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about, I don’t know these accounts, and I haven’t watched any of these videos,” Bowman said.

“There is a war going on that has killed tens of thousands of innocents and people here can’t afford rent and groceries, I think people care more about that than some convoluted story about videos that I haven’t even watched.”

This isn’t Bowman’s first run-in with being called out for following conspiracy theories.

Earlier in the year, the Daily Beast discovered an old blog that belonged to the New York Democrat which included a poem that discussed a conspiracy theory about September 11, 2001.

“2001/Planes used as missiles/Target: The Twin Towers. Later in the day/Building 7/Also Collapsed [sic]/Hmmm…/Multiple explosions/Heard before/And during the collapse/Hmmm…” Bowman’s poem read.

Maybe it’s time for Democrats to stop electing such insane people to Congress. Leftists in the U.S. House, and in all of politics, are constantly embarrassing themselves through their insane ideologies and theories that they adhere to.

This behavior by Bowman is typical of members of the “Squad” in the U.S. House. Other members include Reps. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), and Ilhan Omar (D-MN).

Those aren’t the brightest cast of characters in Washington, D.C.
