The Biden administration is falling apart at the seams. And this could be the final straw.
Because a top Biden official was just raided by law enforcement.
Joe Biden and his ilk in the White House have an issue when it comes to following or upholding the laws.
Just take a look at Biden’s absolute refusal to enforce immigration laws.
Or his complete disregard for the Constitution when he decided to unilaterally cancel student debt.
No, to Joe Biden, the law is a suggestion.
But it looks like all of that is catching up with him.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) acknowledged that federal agents searched a Biden administration employee’s office in Washington, D.C., and that the official has been placed on administrative leave.
DHS verified to Fox News Digital that the office of Transnational Organized Crime Mission Center executive director Brian Sulc was raided and taped up on Monday.
In a statement to Fox News Digital, a DHS spokeswoman confirmed the investigation into Sulc.
“DHS is committed to ensuring all operational security protocols are followed and is conducting an inquiry into a reported security incident,” the spokesperson said. “DHS will not comment on ongoing internal investigations.”
“DHS conducts its national security mission with adherence to the highest standards,” they continued.
According to the spokeswoman, Sulc was also placed on administrative leave as part of the continuing inquiry, which is customary procedure.
Furthermore, the spokeswoman stated that the Federal Protective Service (FPS) measures were unrelated to the ongoing internal investigation.
Sulc’s mission center is operated by the DHS’s Office of Intelligence and Analysis. Sulc is being investigated for allegedly violating security standards by bringing a personal electronic device into the guarded office, which is against the rules.
Sulc has not been charged or arrested.
According to a person acquainted with the inquiry, the Office of the Chief Security Officer examined Sulc’s office at 4:15 p.m. on Monday, covered it with tape, and placed evidence seals on the door and keyhole.
According to Rolling Stone, the recording used was crime tape, while a person familiar with the investigation informed Fox News Digital that it was simply “tape.”
The Biden official was led out of the premises by FPS and security before being transferred to a separate location for questioning.
Sulc’s mission center generates intelligence assessments on high-profile policy topics such as the opioid epidemic and border security.
“He is a big deal,” a source close to the investigation told Rolling Stone. “He does the border, all the big issues and crises. This is why this is all so shocking.”
