Trump is nowhere to be found after abruptly canceling historic event

Former President Trump was about to crack his election case wide open. Now he’s missing in action.

And Trump is nowhere to be found after abruptly canceling a historic event.

Never before has a former president been persecuted by their chief political rival like Donald Trump has been.

Every day seems to bring new allegations and indictments. It’s gotten so bad that Trump faced over half a millennium in jail.

The goal is clear, Democrats want Trump to rot in jail for the rest of his life.

The most recent charges brought stem from actions taken after the 2020 election in Georgia.

Trump was set to release evidence that would have exonerated him, but something changed.

Former President Donald Trump announced Thursday night that he will cancel a news conference scheduled for Monday at which he will present strong proof of voter fraud in Georgia during the 2020 presidential race.

After being indicted at the start of the week on 13 felony counts in Fulton County related to his alleged efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election, Trump said on social media that he was going to be releasing a “detailed but irrefutable” report on alleged election fraud “which took place in Georgia.”

“Based on the results of this CONCLUSIVE Report, all charges should be dropped against me & others – There will be a complete EXONERATION!” Trump stated, adding that prosecutors should go after those accused of election rigging.

Trump’s lawyers, though, pleaded with him not to host the gathering because it could be used against him in his case.

One of his former White House lawyers warned that it could result in an obstruction charge because it could be interpreted as an attempt to sway the jury pool.

“Rather than releasing the Report on the Rigged & Stolen Georgia 2020 Presidential Election on Monday, my lawyers would prefer putting this, I believe, Irrefutable & Overwhelming evidence of Election Fraud & Irregularities in formal Legal Filings as we fight to dismiss this disgraceful Indictment by a publicity & campaign finance seeking D.A., who sadly presides over a record-breaking Murder & Violent Crime area, Atlanta,” Trump wrote on social media.

“Therefore, the News Conference is no longer necessary!”

According to the New York Times, Trump was planning to release a 100-page study compiled by one of his communications staffers who is claimed to be a “true believer” in the former president’s assertions that the election was rigged and stolen.

Georgia Republican Governor Brian Kemp responded to Trump’s comments on X, formerly known as Twitter, with the following statement: “The 2020 election in Georgia was not stolen.”

“For nearly three years now, anyone with evidence of fraud has failed to come forward — under oath — and prove anything in a court of law,” Kemp said.

“Our elections in Georgia are secure, accessible, and fair and will continue to be as long as I am governor. The future of our country is at stake in 2024 and that must be our focus.”
