Trump’s attorneys just turned the tables on the Georgia prosecutors

Democrats believe they have Donald Trump dead to rights. But his lawyers just flipped the script.

Because Trump’s attorneys turned the tables on the Georgia prosecutors with just two words.

The news in America right now is being dominated by the fact that Donald Trump is facing a major indictment in the state of Georgia over allegations that he tried to overturn the results of the 2020 election.

The release of his “mugshot” simply set the world on fire and will go down in history as one of the most important mugshots in human history, period.

Donald Trump knew that this would be a big deal and his campaign even capitalized on this by raising millions of dollars in the days after the release of the mugshot.

The Democrats hoped that if they released a mugshot of the former president, it would diminish Trump’s popularity. That, however, only helped his chances of becoming the Republican presidential nominee.

Trump’s lawyer and legal spokesperson, Alina Habba, actually thanked Fani Willis.

Habba criticized Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’s efforts to politically prosecute Trump for his claimed attempt to turn over the 2020 election in an interview with Newsmax.

According to Trump’s lawyer, Willis’s decision to make the mugshot public was a “power play that got reversed on her.”

“They didn’t need the mug shot,” Habba declared. “It was, I guess to her, probably a trophy, but thank you because now the trophy actually became ours.”

Trump made his return to Twitter after being banned on the same day he turned himself in to the Fulton County Jail.

Trump immediately posted his mugshot with an option for people to donate to his reelection campaign.

More than 200 million people had viewed Trump’s post inside 24 hours.

“The American people aren’t stupid. Thank you, Fani,” Habba said, adding that the mug shot was probably one of the finest things to happen to him at the time.

President Trump is a “powerhouse,” Habba said, and the more the Democrats try to bring him down, the more it “emboldens and strengthens his base.”

Trump has previously referred to the four indictments against him as “election interference,” claiming that the attacks on him are a deliberate attempt to keep him off the ballot in 2024.

The campaign of the outgoing president is unconcerned that the political witch hunts against Donald Trump will affect his chances of reelection.

“It’s interference in an election. It is 100% taking away our right to choose and vet the next president of this country, and that’s what they wanted,” Habba claimed. “They know they can’t beat him in the polls.”

What the Democrats are doing may be the biggest mistake in their party history because before Donald Trump was being attacked with legal battle after legal battle, Donald Trump’s poll numbers were not nearly as good as they are now for him.

But now that they’ve let the cat out of the bag, the Democrats can’t go back. They’ve forced themselves into a corner and will have to simply double down.

Meanwhile, Trump seems unfazed by the legal battles and believes they will only help him, which has been the case so far.
