Joe Biden and the Left love to take away American’s freedoms. It’s practically in their DNA to do so.
And United States citizens are furious after this ban from the Biden administration was announced.
President Joe Biden is looking every which way to strip American citizens of their freedoms.
He wants to place strict bans on firearms and is also looking to try and ban gas powered cars in favor of unreliable electric cars.
And now, according to the Department of Energy, President Biden’s administration is finalizing a new ban on natural gas in federal buildings that are classified as either new or renovated.
The announcement of the natural gas ban was made this past Wednesday.
The Department of Energy explains that the Clean Energy for New Federal Buildings and Major Renovations of Federal Buildings Rule will be put in place to try and decrease the amount of pollution, increase the quality of air, and also create jobs that are well-paying.
“The Biden-Harris administration is practicing what we preach,” Jennifer Granholm, the Energy Secretary said.
“Just as we are helping households and businesses across the nation save money by saving energy, we are doing the same in our own federal buildings.”
White House Council on Environmental Quality Chair Brenda Mallory also touted the new natural gas ban in a statement of her own.
“President Biden has charged the federal government to lead by example by transforming its footprint of more than 300,000 buildings to be more energy efficient and climate resilient, which means cleaner air and safer communities across the country,” she said.
By 2025, federal buildings that are new or renovated will no longer be using fossil fuels.
Buildings that are in the process of being built or are about to be under construction will completely stop the use of these fuels by the year 2030.
“Today’s action will help our federal government achieve President Biden’s ambitious federal sustainability goals while creating good-paying jobs, saving taxpayers money, and building healthier, more resilient communities,” Mallory continued.
State rules in places like New York City and Los Angeles have also been introduced which ban gas appliances from being installed in newly built homes.
The Biden administration has said in the past however, that they were not in favor of banning the use of natural gas in things like gas stoves.
“The president does not support banning gas stoves,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said in 2023.
“And the Consumer Product Safety Commission, which is independent, is not banning gas stoves.”
Will Joe Biden and his administration ever be straight forward about anything?
The answer to that question is definitely a “no.”
