White House put on lockdown after suspicious substance found

White House

The Biden administration has been caught up in countless scandals. But this is just bizarre.

And the White House was put on lockdown after a suspicious substance was found.

Biden and his cabinet seem to be allergic to a slow news day.

No matter how hard any of them try, there always seems to be some terrible story leaking from the White House.

Listing the litany of scandals here would take far too long, but here are just a few of them:

  • Joe Biden invited his son, Hunter, to rub elbows with elites on Independence Day while allegations continue to spring up that both used Joe’s political power to get bribes.
  • The FBI and DOJ have admitted to being complicit in Biden’s misconduct and helped cover it up.
  • A federal judge has blocked the Biden administration from communicating with social media companies due to their collusion to censor information unpalatable in the eyes of Biden.

Of course, there are plenty of other scandals that could be listed. It’s not hard to find them when this is likely to be the most scandal-ridden administration in history.

But now the White House is on lockdown for a bizarre reason, and it’s creating a media firestorm.

A strange substance discovered at the White House was later proven to be cocaine.

The material, discovered inside the West Wing of the White House on Sunday, prompted an evacuation and emergency reaction.

“On Sunday evening, the White House complex went into a precautionary closure as officers from the Secret Service Uniformed Division investigated an unknown item found inside a work area,” the U.S. Secret Service said in a statement to Fox News Digital.

“The DC Fire Department was called to evaluate and quickly determined the item to be non-hazardous. The item was sent for further evaluation and an investigation into the cause and manner of how it entered the White House is pending,” the statement added.

According to The Washington Post, an unnamed official involved with the inquiry revealed a positive test for cocaine in the suspected item.

Following the discovery of the item, a hazmat crew was dispatched to the area of 18th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue.

Following the incident, Secret Service agents cordoned off routes around the White House.

The substance has been sent for additional testing, according to the Secret Service.
