The skeletons in Biden’s closet are about to be revealed. It may just damage his career for good.
And White House staff leak a secret about Joe Biden that you’ll never believe.
Last month marked the 81st birthday for President Biden.
He’s far past the age when most people retire.
But that isn’t stopping him from pursuing a second term in the Oval Office.
And it’s also not stopping his biggest critics and even some Democrats from expressing worry that his age may just hurt his ability to properly serve as commander-in-chief.
There are also aides who work with the president who are very concerned that the 2024 presidential campaign will be Biden’s breaking point.
According to a report from Axios, current and former aides of President Biden’s don’t believe he fully understands how much voters are worried about his age.
“He is his own worst enemy when it comes to his schedule,” a former aide said.
First lady Jill Biden has even stepped in to help make the president’s schedule easier, as well as working with him on maintaining a healthier diet.
Both the first lady and President Biden work together to keep “an eye on one another’s schedules for the sake of balance – and they are far from the only couple in the administration who does that,” according to a White House official.
Joe Biden understands that his polling numbers aren’t looking good heading into 2024. This could likely be attributed to his age and lack of mental fitness, which in turn has caused him to make jokes about how old he is.
“Try being 110 and doing it again,” Biden said to a crowd back in June while speaking on running for reelection.
Later that month he told another crowd, “I know I’m 198 years old.”
And when speaking at an event in New York in the fall, he said, “I’ve never been more optimistic about our country’s future in the 800 years I’ve served.”
Other members of Biden’s team are more optimistic and think that the president is doing an excellent job maintaining a busy schedule at 81-years-old.
“I think that it’s important we continue to show the work that the president’s doing day in and day out,” Julie Chavez Rodriquez, Biden’s campaign manager, said.
“I think it’s a perfect example of the kind of schedule that he continues to keep, the kind of hard work that he continues to do on behalf of the American people, and the fact that he continues to show really strong, steady leadership at every turn.”
But Rodriguez’s comments don’t do anything to discredit the real worry of current and former Biden aides, as well as the millions of voters who can easily see that Joe biden is facing struggles with cognitive decline.
