The former first lady has been out of the spotlight lately. But now she’s making her presence felt with this latest announcement.

And Melania Trump gives stunning insight on who Trump’s next vice president will be.

With former President Donald Trump expected to be the Republican nominee for president in 2024, there’s been growing speculation on who will reside in his cabinet.

There’s extra curiosity surrounding who his pick for vice president will be.

Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) and Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R) have already been rumored to be Trump’s running mate.

And Trump’s wife and former First Lady Melania Trump has expressed who she’d prefer to be on the ticket with her husband.

According to reports from Axios, Mrs. Trump is all in for former Fox News host and conservative commentator Tucker Carlson to be Donald Trump’s vice president.

She believes that Carlson would be a “powerful onstage extension of her husband,” sources told Axios.

“I like Tucker a lot. I guess I would consider him. He’s got great common sense,” former President Trump said of Carlson while appearing on an episode of The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show.

People close to Trump however don’t believe he’d actually pick Carlson, as the former Fox News host may overshadow him with popularity and charisma.

Melania Trump has been distant from the campaign trail ever since Donald Trump announced his campaign for reelection in 2022.

But there’s growing speculation that Carlson being her husband’s running mate would motivate her to campaign with him more.

Carlson didn’t take the idea of being vice president too seriously when asked about it by comedian Roseanne Barr last week.

“Oh gosh. I put that in the category of – asteroid striking the Earth,” Carlson said.

“You know, I’ve never been in politics.”

Barr asked the conservative titan if he would consider it, to which he said, “I guess I’d have to think about it.”

“I mean, I have spent my whole life looking at politicians and commenting on them and passing judgment on them and I’ve never run for, you know, room mother.”

“And so the idea of that is so far from anything I’ve ever done, it’s kind of hard even to imagine.”
