The former president’s son is outraged. The Democrats in the mainstream media felt just how angry he really is.

And Donald Trump Jr. didn’t hold back in his attack on the Leftist media after his father’s assassination attempt.

In the aftermath of an assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, Donald Trump Jr. has sharply criticized corporate media and Democrats for what he perceives as their equivocation and victim-blaming of Republicans.

“The leftwing media and Democrat political hacks are actually trying to ‘both sides’ some psychopath attempting to assassinate my father,” the former president’s son declared in a post on X on Sunday. He further added, “Just when you think these people can’t get any lower, they always do!!!”

For years, the media and far-left Democrats have likened Donald Trump to historical villains and portrayed him as a “threat to democracy” and the American way of life.

The rhetoric has been severe, with some Democrats appearing on television to call for Trump to be “eliminated.” President Joe Biden has repeatedly labeled Trump a “dictator,” including on the very day the assassination attempt occurred.

Despite the gravity of the assassination attempt, left-wing commentators swiftly shifted the narrative towards Trump and the Republican Party, seemingly more concerned about Trump’s potential reaction and possible retaliatory violence than the attempt on his life.

After a bullet narrowly missed his head, leaving blood pouring from his right ear and smeared across his cheek, Trump briefly emerged from his Secret Service detail before being whisked away to safety.

In a show of defiance, video captured the former president pumping his fist and shouting, “Fight, fight, fight.”

Reacting to the footage, CNN Special Correspondent Jamie Gangel commented, “I do want to say, there was one thing that, when I watched the tape, I found odd, because of all of the heated rhetoric, and that is, that, after he was hit, former President Trump got up and said, ‘Fight, fight, fight.’”

“I think what we’re hearing from people is, that’s not the message that we want to be sending right now. We want to tamp it down.”

Host Dana Bash added during CNN’s coverage of the incident, “Just in the past few years, we’ve seen political violence in a very nefarious way.” She cited examples like the attack on Nancy Pelosi’s husband and the shooting of Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, underscoring the persistent and dangerous rise of political violence.

On ABC’s “This Week,” host Martha Raddatz remarked on Trump’s instinctive reaction to call for a “fight” post-assassination attempt. Co-host George Stephanopoulos noted that this reflects the deep divisions within the country, stating, “You’ve traveled around the country talking to voters in this deeply divided nation. In some ways, this is a horrific symptom of the underlying division in this country.”

Raddatz concurred, emphasizing the continuation of this violent rhetoric, “We saw President Trump raise his right hand, as Jon just described, and we’ve seen those pictures. But we could also see him say, ‘Fight, fight.’ That was his first instinct.”

Stephanopoulos also pointed out that Trump and his supporters have significantly contributed to the violent rhetoric permeating American political discourse.

David Frum, a prominent “Never Trump” pundit, echoed these sentiments in an article for The Atlantic, blaming Trump for inciting the very violence that nearly took his life. “Now the bloodshed that Trump has done so much to incite against others has touched him as well,” Frum wrote. He highlighted the longstanding presence of political violence in American history and accused Trump supporters of fostering a new era of violence with the upcoming 2024 election.
