Donald Trump has already survived two assassination attempts. But he’s not out of the woods yet.

And the Secret Service is on high alert after Trump is rocked by yet another assassination threat.

A 74-year-old Pennsylvania man has been taken into custody after allegedly threatening to k*ll former President Donald Trump, just a day before his scheduled rally at Penn State.

“I’d like to shoot that guy,” he reportedly declared, sparking a swift law enforcement response.

The suspect, identified as Paul J. Gavenonis, who uses she/her pronouns according to the Centre County Public Defender’s Office, was arrested after allegedly making threatening statements at Penn State’s transportation office.

According to a report by the Lexington Herald Leader, Gavenonis was overheard expressing his desire to harm Trump while attempting to purchase a parking pass at the university last Friday.

“I hate Donald Trump. I’d like to shoot that guy,” Gavenonis is alleged to have said while making a gun-racking gesture with his hand. He went on to describe his intention to climb a building, noting, “you can’t take a gun in or the students will see it,” as detailed in the arrest affidavit.

A concerned employee, alarmed by the suspect’s words and gestures, promptly reported the incident to authorities, fearing the parking pass might allow Gavenonis closer access to Trump’s event.

The rally went ahead as scheduled on Saturday, October 26, 2024, only ten days before the general election.

Penn State police, in conjunction with the Secret Service, questioned Gavenonis about the alleged threats. When asked if he believed he could carry out such an act, he allegedly laughed and replied, “Probably. Yeah.” He reportedly added, “Frankly, I hope somebody would get him,” according to the affidavit.

Agents also noted that Gavenonis claimed to have a rifle at his residence, further escalating security concerns.

It remains unclear if Gavenonis’s attempt to obtain a parking pass was part of a plan to access Trump’s rally or if he intended to attend for other reasons.

According to the Kansas City Star, Gavenonis is registered as a Democrat.

Now facing charges of making terroristic threats and disorderly conduct, he is currently being held without bail in Centre County Prison.

Threats Against Trump Continue As Left’s Rhetoric Heats Up

In the final days of this election cycle, Kamala Harris and the radical Left have ramped up their attacks on Donald Trump.

They keep arguing that he is basically Hitler and that his supporters are Nazis.

So, is it surprising to see that unhinged individuals want to end the former president’s life? Unfortunately it’s not surprising thanks to the rhetoric from the Harris campaign and the Left.

You’d think they’d tone down the rhetoric after the first assassination attempt on Trump. But apparently they’re more than willing to do the opposite.

The Federalist Wire will keep you updated on any new information regarding this threat towards former President Donald Trump.
