Harris is still bitter she lost to Trump in the 2024 election. She may never fully get over it.
And Kamala Harris has come out of hiding to say this one nasty thing about President Trump.

Speaking to a charged audience, Harris painted a grim picture of a nation veering toward crisis, accusing President Donald Trump of steering America away from its core values with deliberate intent.
Her speech marked her first major public appearance since leaving office. Harris didn’t mince words, declaring, “we are seeing the wholesale abandonment” of American ideals under Trump’s leadership. She framed his policies as a calculated assault on the nation’s democratic foundations, warning of a looming “constitutional crisis” if left unchecked.
“Now, I know tonight’s event happens to coincide with the 100 days after the inauguration, and I’ll leave to others to give a full accounting of what has happened so far,” Harris said. “But I will say this. Instead of the administration working to advance America’s highest ideals, we are witnessing the wholesale abandonment of those ideals.”
Harris zeroed in on Trump’s tariff policies, which she blamed for plunging the country into what she called the “greatest manmade economic crisis in modern presidential history.” Yet, she argued, the chaos was no accident.
“Some people are describing what has been happening in recent months as absolute chaos, and of course, I understand why, and it’s certainly true of those tariffs,” she stated. “But friends, please let us not be duped into thinking everything is chaos.”
Instead, Harris described a deliberate, high-speed agenda decades in the making—one designed to dismantle public education, shrink government services, privatize essential functions, and shower tax breaks on the ultra-wealthy.
“What we are in fact witnessing is a high-velocity event,” she said. “Where a vessel is being used for the swift implementation of an agenda that has been decades in the making.”
She went further, falsely accusing Trump and his administration of pursuing “a narrow, self-serving vision of America” that punishes truth-tellers, rewards loyalists, and abandons allies on the global stage. “Right now, we are living in their vision for America,” Harris warned, pointing to a future where citizens are left to fend for themselves.
Harris also took aim at the administration’s immigration policies, specifically referencing the deportation of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an alleged MS-13 gang member. “It is not okay to detain and to disappear American citizens or anyone without due process,” she said.
Yet amid the asinine warnings, Harris struck a note of hope, praising congressional Democrats like Sen. Chris Van Hollen, Sen. Cory Booker, Sen. Bernie Sanders, and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for their “moral clarity.”
She drew inspiration from recent victories, like the Democratic win in the Wisconsin Supreme Court election, as well as Leftist judges who are fighting back against Trump.
“If Congress fails to do its part, or if the courts fail to do their part, or if both do their part, but the president defies them anyway,” Harris said, “Well, friends, that is called a constitutional crisis.”
Delivered at Emerge’s gala, a training ground for Democratic women eyeing public office, the speech was accessible to virtual viewers for $25, with young professional tickets at $100 and general admission at $250.
While Harris sidestepped speculation about a potential gubernatorial run in California, she made closing remarks to try and unite Democrats who’s party is currently underwater when it comes to approval ratings.
“I am not here tonight to offer all the answers, but I am here to say this. You are not alone, and we are all in this together and straight talk, things are probably going to get worse before they get better. But we are ready for it. We are not just going to scatter, we are going to stand together,” the former vice president said.
