The Biden presidency is hanging on by the skin of its teeth. But this could be the nail in the coffin.
Because Biden’s world was SHATTERED after being handed one disastrous report.
With sudden bank failures, rampant inflation, and a porous border hitting the United States, many Americans are angry with the Biden administration.
They not only have not proactively tackled the major issues Americans face, it seems like they’re actively encouraging them.
Just take a look at the border – the Biden administration has allowed millions of illegal immigrants to come into this country.
With them comes drug cartels, fentanyl, and even Chinese nationals and individuals on the FBI terror watch list.
It’s a mess!
But what is Biden up to? He’s celebrating the 13th anniversary of passing the misnamed “Affordable Care Act” – a bill he didn’t even sign into law.
The American people have had enough.
Which is why President Biden’s approval rating has dropped to near the lowest level of his presidency, according to a poll released Thursday.
The polling was done by the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research, and the results show variations in voter support for Biden in recent months.
The president received a 38 percent approval rating in the poll, up from 45 percent in February and 41 percent in January. His approval rating fell to 36% in July, the lowest of his administration, as the full impact of increased gasoline, food, and other expenditures began to strike American consumers.
The polling also reveals concerns about the president’s handling of the national economy and his ability to project authority as he steers the country’s economic trajectory in an increasingly difficult world characterized by inflation and bank collapses.
Just 31% approve of Biden’s economic leadership, which has been stable over the last year.
According to Breitbart News, Biden has already lashed out at those who blame him for inflation and economic woes.
“I’m sick of this stuff… The American people think the reason for inflation is the government spending more money,” Biden angrily said in a rambling speech 12 months ago at a Democrat policy retreat about issues facing his presidency.. “Simply. Not. True.”
Despite his protests, the 80-year-old president’s handling of the country’s economic fortunes has been a source of concern at least since late 2021, when the inflation the administration had predicted would be temporary became a larger burden for businesses and families.
The AP data reveal even more disparities in assessments of Biden’s economic leadership:
The difference between Biden’s approval overall and his approval on the economy is driven largely by Democrats, 76% of whom say they approve of how he’s handling his job as president while 63% approve of his handling of the economy. Few Republicans approve of Biden on either count.
Democrats under the age of 45 feel less positive about Biden, causing a drag on his approval ratings. Just 54% approve of the president’s economic leadership, compared to 72% of Democrats older than 45. Similarly, just 66% of Democrats under 45 approve of Biden overall, compared to 85% of older Democrats.
The poll of 1,081 adults was conducted from March 16 to 20, with a sample drawn from NORC’s probability-based AmeriSpeak Panel, which is intended to be representative of the U.S. population. For all respondents, the margin of sampling error is 4.0 percentage points.
It’s no wonder that celebrating someone else’s achievements while the country burns is bad news for Biden.
