The 2024 presidential election has been a whirlwind. There’s been constant unpredictable twists and turns.

And Donald Trump just hit Kamala Harris with an election update that has all hell breaking loose.

Former President Donald Trump is hinting at the possibility of skipping the upcoming ABC News debate with Vice President Kamala Harris.

His frustrations stem from what he calls a “biased” interview that was recently conducted with Republican Senator Tom Cotton.

Late Sunday night, Trump posted his criticism on Truth Social, directing his ire at ABC News and co-anchor Jonathan Karl for what he considered an unfair segment on This Week.

The interview featured Sen. Cotton, who had a heated exchange with Karl over Trump’s recent remarks about military honors.

“I watched ABC FAKE NEWS this morning, both lightweight reporter Jonathan Carl’s(K?) ridiculous and biased interview of Tom Cotton (who was fantastic!), and their so-called Panel of Trump Haters, and I ask, why would I do the Debate against Kamala Harris on that network?” Trump wrote.

The interview in question took a sharp turn when Karl pressed Cotton on Trump’s controversial comments, in which Trump compared the Medal of Freedom to the Medal of Honor, the nation’s highest award for military bravery. Cotton, a staunch Trump ally, fired back.

“Jon, you’re totally taking that out of context. Donald Trump was great for our military. He is great for our veterans,” Cotton retorted during the interview, defending the former president’s stance.

Trump went on with his rant on Truth Social where he also took the opportunity to dredge up a 2016 scandal involving ABC News contributor Donna Brazile. At the time, Brazile was accused of leaking debate questions to Hillary Clinton’s campaign ahead of a debate.

“Will panelist Donna Brazil give the questions to the Marxist Candidate like she did for Crooked Hillary Clinton? Will Kamala’s best friend, who heads up ABC, do likewise? Where is Liddle’ George Slopadopolus hanging out now? Will he be involved?” Trump added, referencing ABC News’ chief anchor George Stephanopoulos.

Trump’s ongoing skepticism of the network led him to question why Harris selected ABC as the debate host over other networks.

He hinted that her decision might have been driven by bias, especially given the network’s prior coverage of him.

“They’ve got a lot of questions to answer!!!” Trump exclaimed. “Why did Harris turn down Fox, NBC, CBS, and even CNN? Stay tuned!!!”

Despite his sharp criticisms of ABC News, Trump had previously agreed to the debate while President Biden was still in the race.

The debate between the former president and Vice President Harris is currently scheduled for September 10, though it remains to be seen if Trump will ultimately participate.
