The President’s age has been a growing issue for quite some time. Even fellow Democrats are starting to take notice.
And Joe Biden was blindsided by this devastating test result.
At 80 years old, President Biden has shown that his age has contributed to his habit of making constant gaffes during speeches. That’s not to mention his many embarrassing falls during public appearances.
But in a recent poll conducted by Redfield & Wilton Strategies, the majority of Democrats were found to be “concerned” about the President’s age and how that might affect his decision-making as the leader of the free world.
According to Breitbart.com, of the 609 Democrats who were polled, a whopping 75 percent said they were concerned when they were asked: “To what extent, if at all, are you concerned about President Biden’s ability to discharge his duties in office given his age?”
And when asked if “President Biden is too old to seek a second term as President of the United States”, 42 percent of Democrats agreed.
But if the President were to win a second term in 2024, he would be 86 by the time he left office. That puts even less confidence into his base who are already concerned about his mental health.
An additional four years in the most stressful job in the world for an octogenarian, could lead to even more gaffes, this time more severe.
Already, the President is being given a modified schedule according to NBC News, to counter any future incidents that display just how much his mental and physical state has deteriorated.
“Joe Biden’s aides realized they had a problem last month when the president tripped over a sandbag – hard – at the Air Force Academy’s graduation ceremony. Afterward, a few huddled to figure out what may have gone wrong and how to make sure that such an embarrassing and dangerous incident ‘never happens again,’ according to two people familiar with the discussion.”

Despite his best attempts to joke his way through questions about his age, Biden is not instilling confidence in not only Democrats but Americans as a whole.
When polling likely voters, Redfield & Wilton Strategies found that 44 percent were worried Biden’s age would negatively impact his ability to perform as President of the United States.
It’s clear that Democrats have a major problem on their hands with worry that President Biden might not be fit to serve another term.
And with Vice President Kamala Harris hardly being much of an upgrade in the mental capacity department, the Democrat Party has to be on edge for 2024.
“The issue of transportation is fundamentally about just making sure that people have the ability to get where they need to go! It’s that basic” the Vice President said in a recent gaffe of her own.
While polling doesn’t look great for the President’s public perception that he’s fit for a second term, he’s still planning to run in 2024, with an official announcement that came in April of this year.
But it’s up to the American public to determine whether or not he’s truly fit for another four years.
