Michelle Obama 2024 election statement astonishes Washington, D.C.

The Obamas have been out of the White House for almost a decade now. But the Left desperately wants them back.

And this Michelle Obama 2024 election statement has astonished Washington, D.C.

President Joe Biden’s reelection chances are looking awfully grim right now.

If the election were held today, he would likely lose to former President Donald Trump based on multiple polls.

Other polls show that potential replacements for Biden wouldn’t fare much better against Trump.

But the Left has one hope. And that’s former First Lady Michelle Obama.

However, she’s come out with a statement that’s completely crushed those hopes for the Democrats.

Michelle Obama Statement has Democrats Panicking

In the latest Ipsos/Reuters survey, former President Donald Trump is outperforming California Gov. Gavin Newsom and Vice President Kamala Harris in a hypothetical presidential matchup. This development comes amid growing concerns within the Democratic Party following President Joe Biden’s lackluster debate performance.

Despite the rising anxiety among Democrats, Biden has firmly stated that he has no intention of stepping down. Earlier this week, Biden and Harris held a call with campaign staffers, delivering what the Associated Press described as a “pep talk” to reassure them of their commitment to the race.

Following this, Biden convened an emergency meeting with Democratic governors, many of whom subsequently voiced their support for the 81-year-old president.

Nevertheless, recent polls indicate that a significant portion of Americans desire a replacement for Biden, including 32 percent of Democrats, according to a new Reuters/Ipsos survey.

While the same poll shows a tie between Trump and Biden in a direct matchup, Trump appears to have a clear advantage over almost every other hypothetical Democratic candidate.

For instance, Trump leads Harris 43 percent to 42 percent, Newsom 42 percent to 39 percent, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer 41 percent to 36 percent, Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear 40 percent to 36 percent, and Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker 40 percent to 34 percent.

The only hypothetical candidate who surpasses Trump in the survey is Michelle Obama. However, Obama has repeatedly stated her disinterest in running for president. In March, Crystal Carson, director of communications for Obama’s office, reiterated this stance, saying, “As former First Lady Michelle Obama has expressed several times over the years, she will not be running for president.”

Carson added, “Mrs. Obama supports President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’ re-election campaign.”

This survey aligns with findings from a HarrisX/Forbes poll, which also shows Trump leading Harris by seven points in a direct matchup and by five points when third-party candidates are included.

Even if the Democrats wanted to ditch Biden for a so-called more capable candidate, Donald Trump would still likely win the 2024 election according to polling.

The Left and President Joe Biden are in devastating situation right now.

There looks to be no solid solution no matter which direction they turn to.
