Republican National Committee Chair torn to shreds by this presidential candidate

There’s tension in the Republican Party right now. Members of the GOP are doing everything possible to win next year’s election.

And the Republican National Committee Chair was torn to shreds by this presidential candidate.

Despite Donald Trump’s absence from Wednesday night’s Republican primary debate, there were still some fireworks from the candidates on the stage.

Entrepreneur and Republican candidate for president, Vivek Ramaswamy provided plenty of sparks for the audience and viewers at home.

He took shots at fellow competitor and former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, as well as current Republican National Committee (RNC) chair, Ronna McDaniel.

“Let’s speak the truth. Since Ronna McDaniel took over as chairwoman of the RNC in 2017, we have lost in 2018, 2020, 2022, no red wave that never came. We got trounced last night in 2023. And I think that we have to have accountability in our party,” Ramaswamy.

“For that matter, Ronna, if you want to come on stage tonight, you want to look the GOP voters in the eye and tell them you resign, I will turn over [and] yield my time to you. Frankly, look, the people there are cheering for losing in the Republican Party.”

“Think about who’s moderating this debate. This should be Tucker Carlson, Joe Rogan, and Elon Musk. We’d have 10 times the viewership asking questions that GOP primary voters actually care about and bringing more people into our party,” Ramaswamy added.

The businessman wasn’t done with the attacks, this time going after debate moderator and NBC White House correspondent, Kristen Welker.

“We’ve got Kristen Welker here. Do you think the Democrats would actually hire [Fox News host] Greg Gutfeld to host a Democratic debate? They wouldn’t do it,” Ramaswamy exclaimed.

“Kris, I’m going to use this time because this is actually about you in the media and the corrupt media establishment. The Trump-Russia collusion hoax that you pushed on this network for years, was that real or was that Hillary Clinton made-up disinformation? Answer the question. Go.”

As Welker tried to interject, Ramaswamy continued, saying, “This is how we get our country back. We need accountability because this media rigged the 2016 election.”

“They rigged the 2020 election with the Hunter Biden laptop story, and they’re going to rig this election.”

Sure, Ramaswamy can be brash and perhaps too outspoken during these debates, but he has a point with his criticism of the RNC.

Under chairwoman McDaniel’s leadership, Republicans have floundered in the last few elections, most notably the 2022 midterms which some believed would be a Republican shellacking of Democrats.

That didn’t end up happening, leaving the GOP and it’s supporters wondering why, considering the Biden administration’s policies have made everyday life more difficult for Americans.

Perhaps, Ramaswamy’s rant during the debate on Wednesday will light a fire under the RNC, causing them to make implement changes that will help Republicans secure victory in the 2024 elections.

Time will tell though if the leaders of the RNC will buck up and take his advice.
