This Biden official’s career is on life support after being exposed by law enforcement

Corruption is rampant in the swamp that is Washington, D.C. That’s especially true in the White House.

And this Biden official’s career is on life support after being exposed by law enforcement.

The crisis at the southern border is an utter disaster.

Illegal immigrants are crossing the border at an unprecedented rate and President Joe Biden couldn’t care less.

Neither could Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas, whose policies have helped to make the border crisis worse.

And now, Border Patrol agents are coming forward to announce that illegal aliens are turning themselves in because they know they’ll likely be released into the United States, according to depositions by agents given to the House Homeland Security Committee.

The depositions took place between May and September of this year, and have been obtained by DailyMail.com.

Chief Patrol Agent Aaron Heitke said to investigators back in May that immigrants turning themselves in is a “more recent phenomenon.”

Agent Gloriza Chavez confirmed Heitke’s testimony and told the House Homeland Security Committee in September that “a lot” of families, in particular, were turning themselves in to Border Patrol.

“There’s – for the majority of my career, I was chasing people that had crossed the border illegally. The phenomenon of having people turn themselves in, it’s happened, but not at the levels that I have been seeing in the last couple years,” Jason Owens, a Chief Patrol Agent told the committee back in May.

U.S. Rep. Mark Green (R-TN) who leads the committee, blamed Mayorkas for the problems at the border, including the issue of illegal migrants giving themselves up to authorities.

“Secretary Mayorkas’ policies encourage lawbreaking to such a degree that record numbers of illegal aliens are actually turning themselves in to Border Patrol agents, expecting to be released, rather than trying to escape across the border uncaught,” Green said to the Daily Mail.

In fiscal year 2023, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) recorded 2,475,669 encounters with migrants.

That’s almost 100,000 more than what was seen in the 2022 fiscal year.

And in October of this year, 240,988 encounters were recorded from CBP. That’s 9,000 more than last October and 80,000 more than the October before that.

In October of 2020 while Donald Trump was still in office, only 71,929 encounters were seen.

Mayorkas’ leadership on this matter is why Republicans are so insistent on trying to oust him from his post.

It’s also why illegal immigrants believe that turning themselves in is their quickest and easiest way to freely living in the United States.

If Republicans don’t band together to impeach the Homeland Security secretary, then this problem will only get worse.
