The thought of Trump winning reelection has Democrats losing their minds. That’s why they’re doing everything to make sure that doesn’t happen.
And this Leftist news outlet made a wild prediction about Donald Trump that you won’t believe.
The mainstream media has been at odds with the Right for quite some time now.
But they were rather favorable towards Donald Trump until he decided to run as a Republican for president in the 2016 election.
Now they criticize every move he makes and they also come up with outlandish theories about his plans for office should he win a second term in the White House.
MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace did exactly that on Monday by claiming that the free press may be put to an end should Trump win in November.
“The annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner is one of the symptoms, one of the signs of a healthy, functioning democracy,” Wallace said on her “Deadline: White House” program.
“It’s a coming together and, at its core, the president doing everything right celebrates and honors the free press. Behind the levity, though, there was something darker, a darker undercurrent, if you will, and a point that the president had to make. And it was more profoundly serious.”
“Because at this exact time next year, depending on what happens in November, seven months from now, we can’t say for certain that there would even be a White House Correspondents’ Dinner or even a free press or even a White House press corps. Right?” she continued.
“You don’t have to have one. Could be another norm Trump blows up.”
Wallace then became emotional after showing her audience a clip of President Joe Biden telling the guests at the Correspondents’ Dinner about Donald Trump’s alleged “attack on our democracy.”
Biden and the Left love to use that line. They think that if Trump wins a second term, he’ll become a rabid dictator.
“I’ve seen that toast a bunch of times, but it landed very differently,” Wallace added. “Because depending what happens in November, seven months from now, this time next year, I might not be sitting here.”
“There might not be a White House Correspondents’ Dinner or free press.”
Donald Trump’s campaign didn’t let Wallace’s comments slide. They fought back with a statement by Communications Director Steven Cheung.
“The only things that will end her show are her s—-y ratings and the temper tantrums she has during her segments,” Cheung said.
“She has a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome and is in desperate need of medical care.”
Fear-mongering is the only thing that the Left can use now to persuade voters to cast their ballot for Joe Biden in the presidential election.
They know that they have no ground to stand on when it comes to issues like the economy, illegal immigration, and foreign policy. Biden is absolutely toast on those issues.
So now the Left has to try and lie to the American people that the free press will be wiped away for good if Trump defeats Biden.
What a ridiculous tactic.
