Joe Biden’s disastrous policies have left leaders across the country begging him for help. The problem is, that he refuses to answer the call.
And President Biden just left a key Democrat fighting for their life.
The state of New York is undergoing a critical crisis at the moment.
Floods of illegal aliens are pouring into the state thanks to ongoing issues at the Southern Border stemming from the Biden administration.
Both New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) and New York Governor Kathy Hochul (D) have reached out to President Biden for help.
But it seems these calls for help have fallen on deaf ears.
According to the New York Post, “President Biden didn’t meet with New York Gov. Hochul when she visited the White House on Wednesday to discuss the Empire State’s flood of migrants because there ‘a lot going on and he ‘has a lot on his plate.'”
“White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Thursday justified Biden blowing off Hochul, who last week demanded that he do more to address New York’s migrant ‘humanitarian crisis’ – though the 80-year-old commander in chief had a seemingly non-time-sensitive meeting Wednesday afternoon with Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.).”
Even though he was claimed to have had a busy day, Biden didn’t have his first public event until 2:44 pm.
And his meeting with Senator Sanders was not particularly urgent as well.
It almost seems as though Governor Hochul has been blacklisted by the White House and the President.
This is likely because of her criticism towards Biden’s response to the urgent issue of illegal immigration in her state.
“With the arrival of over 100,000 asylum seekers and migrants in the past year, coupled with the sustained arrival of hundreds if not thousands to the City every week, the federal government must partner with the City and State in handling this humanitarian crisis,” Hochul wrote in a letter to Biden.
She also added that, “the challenges we face demand a much more vigorous federal response.”
White House Press Secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre tried to cover for Joe Biden even more, saying, “He has a very good relationship with the governor. We’ve been – every time we’re in New York, the president – practically every time – the president engages with the governor.”
But when Hochul was desperate the most to speak to the President, he left her stranded in the dust.
The Governor was able to meet with the White House despite Biden apparently having better things to do.
She was told by his administration that they would find ways to ease up the amount of illegal aliens seeking asylum in New York.
For Kathy Hochul’s sake, those words better lead to real solutions, or citizens of New York will become even more angry with the state’s handling of the immigration crisis.
