Gabbard has been rumored to be a potential running mate candidate for Trump. But she’s yet to reveal her intentions to run alongside the former president until now.

As Tulsi Gabbard just made her VP decision that left Donald Trump speechless.

Everyone is eager to know who former President Donald Trump will pick as his running mate.

There’s been plenty of speculation on who it may be.

But some of the potential names of those who are rumored to be Trump’s next VP, haven’t really spoken out about the opportunity until now.

Former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) said on Monday on an episode of The Rubin Report that she would be ready to serve her country if she were asked by Trump to be his vice president.

Gabbard was formerly a member of the Democratic Party until she left it back in 2022. She even ran for president as a Democrat in 2020.

“If that call came, I would say yes, and I’d be honored to serve my country in that way and to be in a position, first, to help win this election, to stop the Democratic elite from destroying our country, and then actually begin the real work of getting our country back on track,” Gabbard said about the possible opportunity to be vice president under Trump.

“And that starts with having people of courage in our government who care more about the country than they do about the political elite in Washington.”

Despite being a former Democrat, Gabbard has agreed with Trump on various policy issues.

Some Trump supporters feel like she’d be the perfect addition to the former president’s ticket.

But regardless of being asked to run as VP or not, Gabbard said that she’s locked in on trying to have discussions with voters who are undecided.

At the beginning of April, she was offered the VP spot by Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

She of course ended up turning that offer down. Kennedy is running as an independent candidate for president after running as a Democrat earlier in the election cycle.

Other possible names that Trump may be considered according to rumors, are, Reps. Byron Donalds (R-FL), Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), and Elise Stefanik (R-NY).

Sens. Marco Rubio (R-FL) and J.D. Vance (R-OH) are also rumored candidates.

Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) was considered a possible running mate for Trump, but he has stated that he’s not interested in the position.

So while Tulsi Gabbard is willing to serve as Trump’s next vice president, she’ll have to wait for him to officially call upon her to fill that role.
