The 81-year-old president is not getting any younger. His mental and physical fitness are a major concern among voters.
And Biden collapsed after these sobering test results hit his desk.
The presidential election is quickly approaching.
But President Joe Biden and his reelection campaign are in a state of panic after these poll results were just announced.
According to a Rasmussen Reports poll from earlier this week, 54% of Democrats are in favor of ditching Biden for a more favorable candidate to run in his place. Only 38% of Democrats disagree with that proposition.
This shouldn’t really be a surprise to anyone as Biden’s poll numbers are not looking promising right now and his approval rating is abysmal. His poor policies have inflicted economic despair on Americans as well as a crisis at the southern border. So it’s no wonder why he’s currently behind former President Donald Trump in several national polls.
The Rasmussen Reports survey also shows that just 43% of Republicans approve of the Left replacing the 81-year-old incumbent.
50% of independents want the president to be ditched by his party as well.
The likelihood of Joe Biden being replaced by another Democrat is rather low, and the Left understands that.
According to the poll, 57% of Democrats say that it is unlikely that Biden is replaced as the nominee. Just 38% say there’s a chance he is replaced.
There’s also no real alternative to take President Biden’s place.
Former first lady Michelle Obama was considered an option, but she has said several times that she’s not interested in running for president this year.
Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) was also considered as a possible alternative, but only 8% of Leftists believe that he would be a more serviceable option than Joe Biden.
In comparison, 21% of Democrats think that Michelle Obama would be a better choice.
As for Vice President Kamala Harris, 17% of Democrats believe that she would be a better candidate.
31% of respondents say that none of the options listed in the poll would be a superior alternative for the aging commander-in-chief.
Joe Biden has the necessary amount of delegates to secure the Democratic nomination for president.
So the only way the Left can replace him is if he steps down as the nominee and lets someone else run in his place.
Unfortunately for Democrats, the majority of whom want Biden replaced according to the Rasmussen Reports poll, there’s no indication that will happen.
Therefore, a rematch of the 2020 election is almost certain to occur as Donald Trump and President Joe Biden are set to face off this November.
