Capitol Hill is in chaos after one Democrat announced their support for terrorists

It’s become almost a cliché that the Left prefers anyone other than Americans. But this is taking it way too far.

And Capitol Hill is in chaos after one Democrat announced their support for terrorists.

On Wednesday, the House passed a bipartisan resolution denouncing Hamas terrorists’ use of r*pe and s*xual violence as weapons of war during and after the October 7 attacks in Israel.

The resolution, proposed by Rep. Lois Frankel, D-Fla., and supported by 200 co-sponsors on both sides of the aisle, passed 418 to 0.

Rashida Tlaib, a Democratic representative from Michigan, voted “present.”

“Our bipartisan resolution says it loud and clear: r*pe and s*xual violence are crimes against humanity and should never be used or accepted as weapons of war,” Rep. Frankel said in a statement.

The resolution “condemns all r*pe and forms of s*xual violence as weapons of war, including those acts committed by Hamas terrorists” and calls on “all nations to criminalize r*pe and s*xual assault, and hold accountable all perpetrators of s*xual violence, including state and non-state armed groups.”

“There are some subjects that are so difficult to talk about, but it is our responsibility to do so,” Rep. Frankel stated on the House floor Wednesday.

“Hamas’ actions on Oct. 7 and continuing is almost too difficult to speak about, r*ping, mutilating and burning to inflict psychological pain and unleashing trauma that continues to plague a grieving Israel,” she went on to say.

“Shockingly and alarmingly, Hamas’ violence has been met with a shrug from many corners in the world, and many deny it. Such weapons have been used throughout history and around the world to terrorize and traumatize victims, but that doesn’t make it OK. It must never be normalized. Our resolution makes it clear s*xual violence is a crime against humanity,” Frankel said.

Rep. Tlaib said she was “disturbed” that the resolution “completely ignores and erases any s*xual violence committed” by IDF personnel. These assertions are unsubstantiated.

The resolution also urges on all international bodies to “unequivocally condemn the barbaric murder, r*pe, s*xual assault, and kidnapping by Hamas and other terrorists” on and since October 7, and hold all offenders accountable.

It also confirms the US government’s support for independent, impartial investigations into Hamas-committed r*pe and s*xual violence, as well as its commitment to assisting survivors of r*pe and s*xual violence, including those who were brutalized on and after October 7.

This isn’t the first time Tlaib’s support of terrorism and anti-semitism has come to the forefront.

In the aftermath of Hamas’ attack, Tlaib refused to condemn Hamas when directly asked by a Fox News reporter.

“Congresswoman, Hamas terrorists have cut off babies’ heads and burned children alive. Do you support Israel’s rights to defend themselves against this brutality?” Vaughn asked. However, Tlaib refused to respond to the reporter.

Vaughn peppered the congresswoman with similar questions but Tlaib continued not to answer.

“You can’t comment about Hamas terrorists chopping off babies’ heads? Congresswoman, do you have a comment on Hamas terrorists chopping off babies’ heads?” she asked.

“You have nothing to say about Hamas terrorists chopping off babies’ heads? Do you condone what Hamas has done chopping off babies’ heads, burning children alive, raping women in the streets? You have no comment about children’s heads being chopped off?”
