CNN caught committing a humiliating lie that could destroy the network

The Leftist media outlet can’t help themselves. All they seem to do is put down Republicans without any sort of facts or logic behind their attacks.

And CNN is caught committing a humiliating lie that could destroy the network.

If there’s one politician that CNN cannot stand the most, it’s former President Donald Trump.

The network enjoys their constant bashing of Trump, as it’s helped them stay relevant among their unhinged Democrat viewers.

But now their attacks against the former president have gone too far.

While appearing on the network, Lee Carter, a Republican strategist, caught them editing a clip of Trump to make it seem like he would be a dictator if he were to win the presidency in 2024.

While speaking at a town hall event on Fox News, Trump was asked by host Sean Hannity to promise to never use his status as president to act as a dictator.

“Except for day one,” Trump responded.

“I want to close the border, and I want to drill, drill, drill…We’re closing the border, and we’re drilling; after that, I’m not a dictator.”

CNN hosts Poppy Harlow and Alayna Treene were upset at Trump’s answer and didn’t provide any context when discussing it.

Carter thankfully called out the hosts, saying, “To be fair, that soundbite, out of context, is terrifying, but when you hear what he was trying to say overall, he was kind of, sort of, like, as some communicators do, lean into criticism and say, ‘I’ll only be a dictator in as much as I’m going to close the borders and I’m going to start drilling for oil again, after that, no, I promise you I’m not going to do anything.'”

“Are you saying people shouldn’t believe him? Look at the policies he’s laid out,” Harlow responded back.

“Well, what I’m saying is I don’t think that what he meant to say was, ‘I am really going to be a dictator at that moment.’ That’s not what he was saying. He was saying, ‘I’m going to be a dictator on day one under these two terms.'”

Donald Trump can sometimes speak in a way that’s considered tongue-in-cheek or even in a sarcastic tone.

And it’s true that every so often he’s brash in the way he speaks, but Leftists like the hosts on CNN have known this about the former president for almost a decade now.

So, if they can’t properly decipher the way he speaks, as Carter mentioned, then that’s their own fault.

But instead they want to ignore how to interpret Trump’s comments so that they can misled viewers who are watching from home.

This only leads to CNN and media outlets like it, to get exposed for their misleading content.

And it’s why Donald Trump coined the phrase “Fake News” when referring to CNN.
