A lot of political candidates thrive under pressure. But for some, it’s insurmountable.
And this Democrat received a damaging report ahead of the 2024 election.
The 2024 election is never absent of surprises.
And Squad member and radical Leftist U.S. Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) found that out the hard way earlier this week.
Bush discovered that St. Louis county prosecutor Wesley Bell has announced his campaign to run against Bush in a Primary for her congressional seat.
Bell was originally a candidate for U.S. Senate in Missouri, but was considered a long shot as he was going to be running against current Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO).
Now, the prosecutor believes he needs to take Bush’s seat because of her lack of defense towards Israel. He also explained that America needs to support it’s “democratic allies Ukraine and Israel.”
“Understand this unique place that we are with the world literally on fire,” Bell said in his speech announcing his decision to run for Congress.
“I think that we need to make certain that we are providing that effective leadership, not only in our district but in D.C. and on the world stage.”
Bell released a statement on X (formerly Twitter), that also detailed why he was running for the seat in Missouri’s First Congressional District.
“But over the last several weeks, as I’ve campaigned around the state, I’ve heard one refrain from Democrats above all else: yes, we need you in Washington, but St. Louis needs you in the House of Representatives,” the social media post said.

Bell’s criticism of Rep. Bush’s views on Israel aren’t rooted in baseless accusations.
In a post on X, she stated, “We can’t be silent about Israel’s ethnic cleansing campaign. Babies, dead. Pregnant women, dead. Elderly, dead. Generations of families, dead. Millions of people in Gaza with nowhere to go being slaughtered. The U.S. must stop funding these atrocities against Palestinians.”

Bush also voted against a resolution in the U.S. House that supported Israel after Hamas launched an attack that killed around 1,400 Israeli citizens.
Unsurprisingly, Rep. Bush’s office is not thrilled with Wesley Bell’s decision to run against her.
They released a statement that said it was “disheartening that Prosecuting Attorney Bell has decided to abandon his US Senate campaign to become Missouri’s first Black Senator after less than five months, and has instead decided to target Missouri’s first Black Congresswoman.”
Bell certainly wouldn’t be supported by Republicans in the general election if he were to win the primary, but he would be commended for knocking radical Leftist and Squad member, Cori Bush out of her seat.
