Vice President Harris is arguably one of the worst politicians in U.S. history. Her ability to put her foot in her mouth is rivaled only by President Biden.
And Kamala Harris took her idiocy to another level after she made this jaw-dropping claim.
Solving climate change has been a top priority for Democrats for years.
They will find a way to blame disasters of all kinds on it.
Democrats will also work their faulty solutions for climate change into every bill they can, as seen by the failed Inflation Reduction Act that sent billions of dollars to green energy and did virtually nothing to stop rising inflation.
And in an event in Seattle, Washington to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the law, Vice President Harris attributed the climate crisis to yet another disaster.
“Every day around the world, the impact of the climate crisis is stark and it is vivid…And of course, we are all praying for the people of Maui, far too many lives lost…homes lost, businesses lost.”

What the Vice President failed to realize is that the wildfires in Maui were not caused by climate change, but instead errors in land management.
“Blaming this on weather and climate is misleading. Hawaii’s fire problem is due to the vast areas of unmanaged, nonnative grasslands from decades of declining agriculture” said Clay Trauernicht, a professor at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
Not only was the surrounding land not managed correctly, but the emergency response team in Maui also contributed to the severity of the fires by not turning on the warning sirens in time.
Maui County Emergency Management Agency Chief Herman Andaya’s response that he did not regret not sounding the sirens on Maui — and the official who tried to step in and shield him from the reporter pressing for answers — is distasteful.

To add to the human error of the situation, a state water official also played a part in making the wildfires much worse than they should have been.
“Additionally, M. Kaleo Manuel, a state water official, allegedly delayed the release of water that landowners requested to help protect their property from fires until it was too late. He was reassigned over the weekend” according to The Post Millennial.
Meet M. Kaleo Manuel, the official who refused to release water in Maui, contributing to up to 106 deaths.
A Hawaiian Studies major, Kaleo prefers a traditional, holistic "One Water" approach where water is revered, not used.

Kamala Harris continues to ignore these facts by taking advantage of the devastation in Maui to promote the Biden administration’s policy on climate change and the Inflation Reduction Act.
“One year ago, President Biden and I made the largest climate investment in America’s history. We are creating millions of good-paying clean energy jobs, we are rebuilding America’s manufacturing, and we are driving American innovation…” said Harris.
But no amount of promoting this bill will help to solve the tragedy that occurred in Hawaii.
It’s now up to Vice President Harris to determine whether or not she wants to face the facts and work to solve the real problems that caused these wildfires.
