It’s commonplace for politicians to disagree with a fellow politician and their base. But this Democrat took things way too far.

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) has a history of making unhinged statements about former President Donald Trump and his supporters.
About a month ago she made remarks about Trump supporters being a domestic terror threat to the United States.
“I’ll tell you what I’m going to do. I’m going to ask the Justice Department, and I am going to ask the president to tell us what they are going to do to protect this country against violence if [Biden] loses,” Waters said at the time.
“I want to know about all of those right-wing organizations that [Trump] is connected with who are training up in the hills somewhere and targeting what communities they are going to attack. We need to know now, given that he is telling us there is going to be violence if he loses. We need to know what his plan is and how we are going to be protected.”

Waters apparently decided that she wanted to make similar comments about Trump and his base during a recent appearance on MSNBC, saying, “I’m worried that he’s so divisive, and that he’s talking about retribution, and they’re talking about revenge, and I think that that’s dangerous. He’s even mentioned the Civil War, at one point, talked about there will be bloodshed.”
The radical Leftist took the former president’s comments about the auto industry suffering a bloodbath under another four years of Biden out of context, and instead made it seem as though he was encouraging “bloodshed” in the streets if he lost the election to the president this year.
“I am going to spend some time with the criminal justice system, with the justice system, asking them, ‘Tell us, what’s going on with the domestic terrorists? Are they preparing a civil war against us? Should we be concerned about our safety?” Waters continued.
“What is he doing with this divise language? It is dangerous.”

Talk about fear-mongering to the extreme.
But anyone who knows the Left and their tactics, knows that they love to cause a panic among Americans in an effort to control them.
And Maxine Waters of all people shouldn’t be making these comments after she tried to incite riots against members of Trump’s cabinet in 2018.
“And if you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and create a crowd. And you push back on them. And you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere,” the congresswoman said at the time.
