Democrats are trying to sneak their way into a win in the 2024 presidential election. But this politician is making sure that doesn’t happen.
And a secret plan by the Democrats is revealed by a top presidential candidate.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is working hard to make up ground in the Republican primary polls.
As it stands now, he’s about 55 points behind former President Donald Trump according to polling by RealClearPolitics.
So in order to increase his standing in the polls, DeSantis has been working hard to campaign in the state of Iowa where the Republican Iowa caucus will take place on January 15.
On Monday in Urbandale, Iowa, DeSantis attended a town hall hosted by Newsmax, where he explained that President Joe Biden is unfit to run for a reelection.
“Clearly, Biden should not be running again,” the Florida governor said.
“I think he’s very selfish what he’s doing. Look, the age is part of it, but if you look at where he was four years ago to now, he’s in decline…He’s totally lost a step. It’s a daily embarrassment.”
DeSantis then insisted that Republican voters should keep their eye on Democrats possibly having a replacement for Biden in 2024.
“If Biden decides to keep running, if we run a candidate that can make that generational contrast an issue, that’s gonna be a huge benefit for us.”
“On the flip side, if we run someone that’s pushing 80, and they decide to go someone in the next generation, I think that gives them an advantage in terms of electability.”
Governor DeSantis basically is implying that former President Donald Trump would be too old of a candidate to run against a Democrat who’s younger like Vice President Kamala Harris or Governor Gavin Newsom (D-CA).
“I think that the Democrats know the age is a big issue with voters,” DeSantis continued. “I think they want someone else. But they also know they can’t just push him aside, he’s got to agree, he’s the sitting president.”
DeSantis then added a warning to voters on the Right, saying, “Republican voters, you should assume that it may not be Biden.”
There’s been growing speculation for months now that Democrats will give Biden the boot for a more popular and younger Democrat.
That’s why candidates like Rep. Dean Phillips (D-MN) have thrown their hat in the ring so they can provide that younger option for Leftist voters.
It’s also why there’s rumors that Gavin Newsom will also join the race and why many are speculating that he’s currently running a shadow campaign as he visits foreign nations and other states to tout his radical agenda.
But DeSantis’ warnings shouldn’t be ignored by Republicans.
They must be quick on their feet and be prepared for a possible replacement for Joe Biden because the country can’t afford for Democrats to take control of the Oval Office again in 2024.
