President Biden’s campaign has a lot of work to do if they want to win key battleground states in this year’s presidential election. But their work may be cut out for them.
As the 2024 election was flipped on it’s head after this critical swing state turned their back on Biden.
According to a recent Bloomberg News/Morning Consult poll, former President Donald Trump is leading President Joe Biden 48% to 44% across seven important swing states in this year’s presidential election.
These states include Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
In Pennsylvania specifically, Trump is leading Biden 48% to 46%.
So when President Biden held a rally in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, he and his campaign were hoping for a packed house to help give him some much-needed momentum in the state.
But that was the exact opposite of what happened.
New York Post reporter Steven Nelson shared pictures of the rally on X (formerly Twitter) which showed that the gymnasium where Biden was speaking was only half full.
“Photos from President Biden’s Philadelphia rally: the school’s gym is only about half full of supporters,” Nelson said on X. “A good amount of space is empty, and spacious press workspace takes up the rest.”

While Donald Trump can pack in arenas and stadiums with thousands of attendees, Biden has trouble filling up half of a gym.
And if the president wants to win a second term and defeat Trump, it’s imperative that he carries the Keystone State this November.
But according to reports from The Hill, voters in Pennsylvania are starting to shift away from the president.
“A New York Times/Siena College/Philadelphia Inquirer poll out earlier this month showed Biden’s support among young voters in the state has slipped since 2020 from 62 percent to 47 percent. And his backing from Black and Hispanic voters has also waned from 71 percent to 57 percent,” the outlet reported.
“The Times/Siena/Inquirer survey also showed Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA.) – who is running for reelection against Republican Dave McCormick – outrunning Biden by as many as 10 points.”
Former Congressman Jason Altmire (D-PA) was taken aback by these polls. He didn’t expect Biden to be struggling as much in Pennsylvania.
“I’m surprised that things aren’t going so well,” Altmire said to The Hill.
“If there’s any place wehre he should be doing well or better than President Trump, it’s Pennsylvania because of the personal connection, because of the work he’s been putting in for decades, and because the state is trending blue. I think he’s doing everything he can do. They’ve pulled out all the stops.”
Either Altmire isn’t actually surprised, or he’s lying to himself.
Because with high inflation, a poor economy, high gas prices, and rampant illegal immigration, it’s honestly a surprise that Joe Biden isn’t further behind Trump in the polls in Pennsylvania and other swing states.
But Democrats continue to act delusional and are clueless as to why the 81-year-old president isn’t pushing the needle in critical battleground states.
And if these polls continue on their current trend, it could be a very long election day for Joe Biden and his campaign.
