Donald Trump was rocked after a Democrat senator issued a brutal takedown

State Senator Karl Rhoads

Trump is getting hit with every attack from the Left. Democrats won’t stop until they’ve taken him down for good.

And Donald Trump was rocked after a Democrat senator issued a brutal takedown.

Blue states across the country are working hard at trying to disqualify former President Trump from the 2024 ballot.

States like Colorado and Maine have used the insurrection clause of the 14th Amendment to claim that Trump allegedly incited an insurrection on January 6, 2021.

And now Hawaii is the latest state that’s proposed that the former president can’t appear on their ballot.

State Senator Karl Rhoads (D-HI) created Senate Bill 2392, which would disqualify those who broke the 14th Amendment.

The bill does not specifically call out Trump by name but is targeted towards him and any other candidates, present and future, who are “disqualified under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment,” according to the bill’s text.

Rhoads’ legislation would “specify that election ballots issued by the chief election officer or county clerk shall exclude any candidate who is disqualified under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States; article XVI, section 3 of the Constitution of the State of Hawaii; or another constitutional or statutory provision.”

The bill also would prohibit any elector in the state from voting for a nominee who has violated the 14th Amendment.

“The legislature finds that citizens of this State have the right to expect that public servants be people of integrity and not people who have committed actions that threaten democracy or undermine the vote of the people,” the bill states.

Maine and Colorado have already made rulings that would ban Trump from the 2024 ballot, but they have currently been stayed and are pending an appeal from the U.S. Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court will start listening to oral arguments on February 8 involving Colorado and it’s decision to take Trump off the ballot.

The former president has not been found guilty of causing an insurrection on January 6.

Yet he still faces challenges to take him off the ballot in multiple states.

States like Minnesota, Michigan, Arizona, and Oregon were had initiatives through lawsuits to stop Trump from being on their ballots, but those efforts were squashed.

Currently, the Illinois State Board of Elections is looking over an effort to stop Trump from being allowed on their ballot for 2024.

Hopefully, the Supreme Court is able to rule on this situation quickly.

If not, more and more states will find it necessary to try and kick Trump to the curb and not permit voters from being able to vote for him.

Sounds pretty typical from the Left. If you can’t win, change the rules for your benefit.
